Beautiful house and pool! Location is great access to dining, beaches, and shopping. Very relaxing! Only thing is water pressure needs to be addressed. But would revisit.

We enjoyed our stay!
This was our first time visiting Bonita Springs and during our “Spring Break”. The house was spacious for our family of four (2 children, ages 4y/6y). The pool and patio area was relaxing and enjoyed the patio lights. We visited Vanderbilt beach (really nice beach) which is about 15/20 minutes away from the house.

House was nice layout and common area finishes. Sketchy neighborhood at night. Had to call manager for access info. Found debris in the house on arrival. Trash was also stacked up in the bins outside. Pool was not usable due to cleanliness and temperature. Beds were queens not kings and the furniture was worn/damaged in the 3rd bedroom. Manager was nice and responsive to calls.

Pros: convenient location Nice neighbor to the left Some backyard privacy Comfortable beds Cons: owner was great at communicating prior to rental, but during when I had questions, I got no response. Pool was very dirty upon arrival. Never used. Not the best kitchen items if you indent to cook there. Could use pot holders, dish rags, bigger pots/pans & clean knives. No notes to refer to when there, such as check out expectation or trash day bringing can down…we just happened to hear it & ran the can down. Notes would be helpful. Little bugs or mats cover the master bathroom vanity. Wipe them off, they come back in. You don’t want to set anything on it. Other than those items it was a fine stay if you plan to just use it to sleep & maybe jump in the pool but be prepared to clean it first.

Perfect Christmas Getaway
This property was perfect for our family Christmas break!! From the time of our arrival to our departure, we couldn't have stayed at a better place. It's centrally located between Ft. Meyers and Naples. The pool was so great for days we decided to lounge around and the kids loved night swimming. It's heated which came in handy on those cooler nights. There were beach chairs and a rolling cooler that we used in our beach days that was located in the outdoor storage shed. There were an abundance of beach towels to use for the pool and the beach, as well as bathing towels so I didn't feel like I had to do laundry every day. The house was stocked with starting supplies and had everything we needed. We had only 1 small glitch with the pool the very first night and Alex called me immediately to try and troubleshoot but came the very next morning, found the issue and it heated right up. He was great to work with!!!! The place was very clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Recommend Dollys Cafe right down the road for breakfast or lunch!!!

We spent 2 weeks here and it was the first time vacationing with our 2 dogs. The house and fenced in yard were perfect! There are dog friendly beaches and many dog friendly restaurants nearby.

Overall the stay at the Bonita Starfish was perfect for what we needed. The home was clean and provided plenty of additional bath towels/linens so you didn't have to do laundry, though there is a washer and dryer for use at the home. There is also ample amounts of beach towels, chairs and a great cooler (with wheels!!) for guests to use. The home is within 15 min. to the beach and has a grocery store near by. The backyard/patio was great as well to enjoy morning coffee! The only thing we felt would have been helpful upon arrival/during our stay is for the host to have provided information on the trash and recycling pick up process. Future renters should ask for this process ahead of time instead like us, realizing at the end of our stay that we should have asked for this information sooner! We would have been happy to put the bins out had we known when the pick ups would be!! Also there are two new homes being built next door, but throughout our week stay we never heard anyone working. This information in addition to maybe some check out instructions would have been helpful. We ended up contacting the host about check-out and he responded almost immediately. His communication was great throughout. Thanks for having us, we enjoyed our stay to the Bonita Springs area and were happy with the home and its amenities.

Kitchen and entire house was updated and very well cared for. Very nice to have two full baths. Some minor electrical work still to be completed in the kitchen but it was not a problem. It would have been nice to have the owner be more communicative.
