ABOUT THE HOME
Built in 2020, Yes, Deer has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a cozy king bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a pull out twin trundle. The fully stocked kitchen is a dream and ready to meet your needs, whether thatā€™s cooking in or simply using the Keurig for your morning coffee. There are also two porches, one with a hot tub, for you to enjoy!

With two spacious porches to enjoy, you can spend your time on the front porch enjoying seasonal views of the mountain range, or out back soaking in the 6 person hot tub. We have a gas grill and fire pit out back as well as outdoor furniture for lounging or dining. Located on a heavily wooded lot, Yes, Deer offers the perfect secluded setting for enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

We want you to feel right at home when you vacation with us. We offer 5G fiber internet, cable, a smart TV for streaming from your favorite apps, a dedicated work space, and so much more. All linens and toiletries are provided. We also have a Pack-N-Play and booster seat on site if needed for the littlest of guests.

LOCATION
Less than 2 miles to the slopes, Yes, Deer is nestled in the perfect location to enjoy all Beech Mountain has to offer. Local Beech Mountain restaurants and shops are all just a short drive away. Itā€™s also just less than 7 miles to Banner Elk which offers an array of fantastic restaurants, a park, winery, brewery, and an awesome Alpaca farm (a family favorite!). But we understand if you never want to leave the house once you arrive. Grab a throw blanket and snuggle up by the fire or explore the vast woods and creek right outside the door if that is more your speed. We have plenty of board games and puzzles for guests to enjoy so please help yourself!

WEATHER
Ideal circumstances would be snow on the slopes and not on the roads, but please be prepared for snowy conditions. The Town of Beech Mountain does a wonderful job keeping the roads clear, but sometimes it can take time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds due to weather conditions. Since snow is part of the fun, we hope you take precautionary measures to ensure your safety when traveling.

Perfect weekend get away
We had the best time staying in this quaint, secluded home! Our outdoors loving five year old enjoyed tromping through the wooded areas (bonus: it had just snowed before we arrived); we all enjoyed the hot tub; and an unexpected surprise was the deer who would show up for a snack any time we were outside on the deck :) We ended up grabbing boxes of crackers and some veggies from the store just for the deer! We had a wonderful time here -- I especially enjoyed the open kitchen/living room area so we were all still together and able to chat and play while cooking. I hope we get to stay here again soon!

Beautiful home, super clean; fluffy towels and comfortable firm mattress. Hot tub was clean. 2 bathrooms, 1 shower. Fast response from owner when I had questions. NOTE: steep windy roads. Wifi superfast. Lots of natural light. Kitchen is well stocked; gas grill back deck. Bring groceries; not a lot of local fare; most restaurants seasonal or there's a 30-45min drive to Banner Elk or Boone. Appreciated the electric kettle for making my morning tea!!

Fantastic property from fantastic hosts
This is our second time at Yes, Deer. Everything is exactly how we remember it. Perfect amenities and a kitchen well stocked with appliances and dishes/cutlery. The outdoor space is amazing and the deer visited us all day. We started naming them... Chompy (who'd never stop eating deer corn) and Spots (who has 3 spots on his back) seemed to come visit us always. Great fire pit and privacy. Will not be our last visit here.

Thanks again Sarah for all your help with last minute accommodations, coordination, and communication. Too much to type here, but what a gracious host. Pictures do not give this home and location justice. It was perfect for our family of 5. Weā€™ve stayed at many VRBO homes and this is the first that felt like home. Yes, you will see deer. Home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Isolated, yet just a few minutes from the stores, shops, restaurants, and slopes of Beech. Would love to stay here again. Thanks Sarah!

Amazing place and service
This property is amazing. We had a great experience staying at this place. Communication before arrival was easy, checkin process was simple with a keyless entry. Place was clean and organized. All the decor is gorgeous and comfortable. They common area: kitchen, living room and dining room are very welcoming to all ages. Our kids could safely play and walk around the house. We loved the hot tub and all the instructions left about how to use, what to do before and after each use. The bathroom door going out in front of the hot tub is genius. Location is amazing. Every morning and late afternoon deers came to greet us. Very secluded in the middle of the mountain. We went skiing at Beech Mountain and this property is 5-7 minutes away from the parking lot. Made it easier for me since I had to wake up extra early and be there before 8AM to schedule private lessons for the kids. For a free fun time on the snow, 3 minutes past the ski resort is the sledding hill and the Brick Oven Pizzeria (delicious pizza). We left already making plans to come back. My kids were saying "I miss North Carolina" when we were on our way home.

Great cabin in the woods!
This cabin was perfect for our family of 3. The private, wooded setting was just what we were looking for and it was just a short drive away from all that we wanted to do. It was very clean and comfortable just as the listing described. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub, and we even had some deer and turkeys that visited us. We will definitely be booking this cabin again!
