This, the Victorian Suite, is one of our more luxurious suites in Historic Goeppinger Building located in Boone, IA. It is the perfect setting for honeymooners, anniversaries or just a special weekend retreat. The suite has a queen sized canopy bed made up with fine linens. Our guests comment that the bed was the most comfortable bed they ever slept on. The mattress is the kind that allows two people to sleep comfortably but when one sleeper moves during the night, the other isn’t supposed to feel the movement. Apparently it works!
A dressing room with a desk/make up table is next to a full bath with a sink, stool and a tub and shower combination. The shower has a waterfall head. Guests comment on our big white organic towels and mention that they are so fluffy.
The spacious kitchen has the original cabinets from 1935 and the original inlaid linoleum. The kitchen has cookware, an assortment of dinnerware, from casual to bone china, flatware utensils and a supply of coffee. There is a cute little table for two for romantic dinners.
