Cozy Sweden house surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes of pure relaxation!

The holiday home was built in 1997 and bears his name "Älgkulle" not by coincidence. It is situated in a very quiet location on a small hill, where the trail of the moose runs directly on the site. In walking distance you will find lakes, meadows and forests. Close to nature for fishing, pick berries and mushrooms, observe birds and wildlife.


The house has a large living and dining room with fireplace, two bedrooms plus kitchen, bathroom and hallway.

The living room has a 48" LED satellite TV with international channels, DVD and CD and various board games.
In bedroom 1 there is a double bed with 2 Sleeps in bedroom 2 are 2 bunk beds with 4 Sleeps available.

The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster, cutlery, pots, dishes and everything that belongs in a normal household.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet, washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The outdoor area has 2 open terraces, garden furniture, sun loungers, cushions, a large umbrella and a barbecue.

Throughout the house there is a floor heating, a fireplace for cozy hours in the living room. Furthermore there is an air conditioning / air heat pump. The rental includes 4 bicycles. Pets are also welcome by prior arrangement.

Our guests use to bring their own bed sheets and towels. If you need to borrow those stuff, ask me and we have an agreement.

The neighborhood is classic Swedish countryside with farming land. Closest store, where you can buy food and some other things is 8 km, Värnamo city center is 20 km away.

Beautiful cabin and beautiful location
This was a beautiful cabin and location. My wife and I were looking for a quiet place in the country and this fit perfectly. The place was clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a really nice place in the country, wanting to get away from every day noise, this is the place for you. Varnamo is close by if you need a bit of a small town activities. A great place to relax, and would recommend this place to anyone.

Wundervolle Zeit in Schweden mit Hund !!
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dem gemütlich und vor allem vielfältig ausgestatteten Haus. Der Kamin hat uns an den ersten schlecht Wetter Tagen eine wohlige Wärme beschert und zum skandinavische Urlaubsfeeling beigetragen. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich die besondere Gastfreundschaft der Eltern des Vermieters. Sie haben wirklich alles mögliche getan um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Mein Hund war mehr als herzlich willkommen und ist sogar mit einem geschenkten neuen Lieblingsspielzeug nach Hause gefahren. Die Umgebung lädt zum Fahrrad fahren, Pilze und Beeren sammeln, baden gehen und vieles mehr ein. Wir können dieses Haus und die Vermieter nur empfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke nochmal für die tolle Woche Schweden ❤️ 🇸🇪!

Schönes Haus mitten in der Natur
Ein schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück. Wir haben viel in der Umgebung gesehen, Naturreservate erkundet und waren wandern. Auch Elche haben wir gesehen. In der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden bis auf einen Hochstuhl für ein Kleinkind.

Wir waren im Mai 2024 für 2 Wochen im Haus Älgkulle in Tuddabo zu Gast bei Familie Petschke. Der Empfang von Familie Petschke, wie auch die ganze Zeit, war sehr herzlich und liebenswert. Monika und Horst waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit uns gegenüber. Vielen lieben Dank dafür! Das Haus selbst war top sauber und wunderbar eingerichtet. Alles wie beschrieben. Traumhafter Urlaub
Ideal zum Entschleunigen. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Umgebung hat ihre besonderen Reize. Für Naturbegeisterte nur zu empfehlen, egal ob man wandern, baden, angeln, Kanu fahren oder auf den Spuren der alten Schweden unterwegs sein möchte. Nur wer ohne schnelles Internet im Urlaub nicht leben kann, ist hier falsch.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Wir haben zehn tolle Tage in Schweden und in ihrem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht! Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht! Wenn man Ruhe und Natur sucht ist man hier genau richtig! Wenn man Hilfe oder Tips benötigt kann man die im Nachbarhaus wohnenden Eltern (sehr freundlich) fragen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Sehr ordentliches Ferienhaus mit großem Grundstück
Lieber Herr Petschke, vielen Dank für die Zeit, die wir in Ihrem schönen Ferienhaus verbringen durften. Wir haben die 14 Tage wirklich genossen und uns in Ihrem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle beschriebenen Merkmale waren vorhanden und der telefonische Kontakt war angenehm und unproblematisch. Aus dem Herzen Småland's sind viele Unternehmungen möglich, aber auch einfach die tolle Natur genießen, Wandern, Pilze sammeln, Fahrrad fahren, Angeln, Kanu fahren oder auf der Terrasse einfach mal abschalten, haben den Urlaub zur Erholung werden lassen. Der nicht vorhandene W-LAN wirkte sich auch auf unsere Kinder, nach anfänglichem Murren, sehr positiv aus. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung für potentielle Schweden Urlauber! Um aber doch eine, wenn auch nicht entscheidungsrelevante Anmerkung abzugeben, würde ich mich im Urlaub mit Familie über einen Geschirrspüler freuen. Auf der anderen Seite ist es aber durchaus auch mal nicht schlecht, wenn Kinder das Abwaschen kennenlernen. Viele Grüße und alles Gute auch für Ihre freundlichen Eltern in der Nachbarschaft.

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage
Das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die schöne und ruhige Lage lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Besuch im Store Mosse Nationalpark sowie die Elch-Safari in Markaryd hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben die 5 Tage sehr genossen.

Ein rotes Traumhaus in Schweden
Hier findet man Ruhe und Erholung. Alles ist vorhanden, die Wohnung ist grosszügig ausgestattet und es fehlt an nix. Die Terrasse und der Garten bieten einen Ort zum entspannen. Auch unser Hund konnte hier alles ohne Bedenken erkunden. Die Nachbarn waren unglaublich nett und bei Fragen sehr hilfsbereit und hatten stets Leckerlies für unseren Hund (Danke!)

Unser erster Urlaub in Schweden - die perfekte Woche zum Entspannen im Oktober!
Das schöne Häuschen lässt keine Wünsche übrig, alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die gut ausgestattete Küche lässt keine Wünsche übrig (außer der Spülmaschine fehlte es uns an nichts) . Die Lage ist spitze, sehr ruhig, weit weg von lauten Hauptstraßen - perfekt geeignet für alle, die ein Paar Tage Ruhe und Entspannung in den bunten südschwedischen Wäldern suchen. Und trotzdem sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Woche mit unseren erwachsenen zwei Kindern und dem Hund sehr genossen.
