A great find in the vineyards
We stayed at Jean's place during our minimoon - it was a lovely location with a private garden and pool, a short drive away from some great restaurants and vineyards. The place was very clean and the hosts were very welcoming upon arrival, we'd definitely go back! Thank you for a great stay Jean!

Jean was the perfect host and did everything that he could to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Our family and dog loved it. The pool was spotless and location is great for St Emilion.

Amazing
Perfect getaway. Beautiful location. Peaceful. House had all you need. Air Con was brilliant when weather was so hot. Plus the lovely pool to dip in and out of. Creon was a short drive which had a Carrefour supermarket bars and cafe’s. Local restaurant just round the corner from house was lovely. Jean and Natalie the hosts made us very welcome and we’re on hand to help if we needed. Would definitely recommend. Jeanne and Robert June/July 23

Fabulous property and wonderful hosts
If you are looking for a place in the countryside but conveniently located within driving distance into the city of Bordeaux and several smaller towns north and south of Baron, this VRBO is for you. It had everything we had hoped for and more. One of our favorite places to visit was St Emilion only a 20 minute drive. Just a short drive further down the road was St La Foy Grande which has a huge Saturday market. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as we ate several of our meals here. In Baron is a local well stocked grocery store and a bakery just up the street with delicious breads and pastries. The bedrooms are a good size with wardrobes and comfortable beds. Lastly Jean and his girlfriend were very pleasant and helpful. They were always available to answer any questions we had. Marla and Tim

Amazing stay in a great location
The arrival process was handled professionally, and even though we arrived really late, nothing was an issue to explain and welcome us. The property is exactly as described and located close to Bordeaux city, but also the wider area from which to explore. The property also had excellent features and some classy touches such as a remote canopy, use of the pool and a real feel of privacy. Thanks Jean and Nathalie for all your help

Un havre de paix
Nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse de la part de nos hôtes Jean et Nathalie. Nous avons trouvé un havre de paix, très très beau et si calme. Se réveiller en ouvrant les volets et découvrir chaque matin une vue magnifique quel bonheur. La maison est très bien située et équipée comme il faut il ne manque rien. Nous avons loger à trois avec notre petit de 20 mois. Située à proximité de Bordeaux c’est un très bon compromis vis-à-vis de la distance à parcourir pour les visites à effectuer. Réservez! Vous le ne regretterez pas

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en parfaite harmonie avec la nature. Nous avons pu entrevoir des lièvres, des biches et des sangliers entre les vignes... C'est un endroit où il fait bon vivre. Großzügig, ruhig und gepflegt
Wir waren im Mai/Juni 2023 drei Wochen in dieser sehr ruhigen, sehr gepflegten Unterkunft im Dorf Baron in der Gironde, etwa 25 km von Bordeaux, und können sie ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen. Das Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert wurde vor drei Jahren generalsaniert und hat nun einen sehr hohen Standard. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, räumlich großzügig und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Vermieter Jean wohnt gleich nebenan und kann sich im Bedarfsfall gleich kümmern. Zu bemängeln höchstens das katastrophale WLAN, das aber Ende Juni durch Glasfaser behoben werden soll, und das Fehlen einer Mappe, der der Mieter alles Wesentliche entnehmen könnte, etwa Empfehlungen zu Restaurants oder Info zu den TV-Programmen. Dass es nur eine Toilette und ein Bad mit sehr gut funktionierender Dusche gibt, ist bei Besetzung mit nur zwei Personen kein Problem. Diese Kritikpunkte sind aber völlig nebensächlich im Vergleich zur schönen Wohnung. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder buchen.

das schöne Haus in der Natur
es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in der Natur, die Ausstattung der Wohnung war komplett, es hat an nichts gefehlt, die Unterstützung des Besitzers großartig (bei noch etwas kühlem aber sonnigen Wetter hatte er für uns die Gartenmöbel herausgeholt und wir konnten uns im Pool erfrischen. Danke). Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch günstig um Bordeaux, die Umgebung inkl. St. Emillion zu besuchen und insbesondere direkt vom Haus aus Fahrradausflüge und Spaziergänge auch mit unserem Hund zu machen.

Maison de vacances idéale
Jean nous a accueilli chaleureusement à l'heure qui nous arrangeait. La maison est agréable, spacieuse, bien équipée. La cuisine et la salle de bain sont belles et fonctionnelles. Les 3 chambres sont grandes avec une bonne literie, tout est parfait pour 3 couples avec un bébé. La terrasse est très agréable face aux vignes et le soir, l'éclairage de la piscine embellie l'ambiance. Notre séjour était trop court : nous n'aspirons qu'à revenir et rester plus longtemps.

Excellent accueil à notre arrivée dans un endroit magnifique entouré de vignes. A 20 minutes de St Emilion, la région est très belle. Dotée d une future piscine la maison ayant déjà beaucoup de cachet, ne manquera pas de séduire les futurs vacanciers. A refaire.
