It was a good stay. Was hard to use pool due to closing early and would be nice to make a courtyard to relax outside. Smoking area was right next to front door. So very intrusive. There is plenty of areas away from door to make a smoking/lounge area

The room was very spacious. My kiddos loved having their own beds, and hubby and i like having a bit of privacy. We were surprised and pleased when we found out we had a balcony. The TV was a tad bit annoying as it scrolled on its own and wasnt very fast. The only issue we found was there was no elevator to the 2nd floor and if you had a side room you had to carry it up a flight of stairs. Also the side door did not have a handle on the door so if it was shut tight you had only one entrance into the hotel and it was all the way around to the front of the building then you had to treck all the way to your room. COOKIES WERE DELICIOUS AND WARM.

Everything was great until we were woken up by the screams of children just at 7 am. We were there on vacation and didn’t know they put us above a daycare. We were startled out of sleep by the screams of a child then joined by many kids yelling and crying as they were outside playing. Although, we love children we love our rest and ability to sleep in on our vacation. Had we been notified that they were on top of a daycare we would have chosen a different location. Other than that the hotel was clean and comfortable.

As soon as we opened the door, the smell of old stale fragrance smacked us in the face. The phone didn’t work. Bathroom fan didn’t work. The room was HOT. Most of the outlets didn’t work. Couldn’t take towels from the pool back to the room- froze our butts off dripping wet. Breakfast was reasonably priced and actually very good. The decor is dated and the room is dim. For the price we expected perfection.

This hotel was a nice cheap option that was close to Salem. The facility was not the nicest area however I was just there to sleep.
