Liked the location and the bed and pillows . We had to request clean towels four times . We got locked out of the room on our first day (key didn’t work ) and there was no apology or explanation . The AC did not work well. We had it set on the lowest setting the whole time and it felt like 72 or 73 degrees when we were needing more relief from extreme heat.

honestly we were very disappointed with our stay. reading all the reviews and looking at all the pictures it seems like a beautiful hotel which the lobby and restaurant also just as gorgeous in person but that’s where it ends. the room was more of a holiday in vibe very dated with just some facelifts done. the air conditioner was almost non functional which made it difficult to sleep on an already uncomfortable bed even worse. we booked a double room and were given a single king bed and told there was no other room available because they overbooked for that type. but we were not told this at check in it wasn’t until we got to the room and saw the king bed. then the staff pretty much told us too bad. expedia was great about offering some compensation but i will never stay at this hotel again. also no valet, parking is 65 dollars.

I’ve stayed at the Colonnade several times for business and the location is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and have a good work area to get some work done. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when I come to boston.
