Great cabin, location and quiet
We had a great stay! The cabin was so much bigger and nicer than I thought. My kids 8 & 5 loved the gaming table and we all enjoyed the hot tub! Scott was very quick at answering any questions and accommodating. Cabin is close to everything but in a quiet and nice neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be returning!

Fantastic townhome & great location
We had a fantastic stay here. Great, clean, property. Lots of amenities (hot tub, grill, fire pit) and household items (cooking utensils, crib, highchair, etc...) to make the stay easy. Great communication with the owner, and the property was in a really nice setting. Very cool that the property has a 'meadow alert' that rings whenever wildlife approach the backyard pond.

Perfect for our group
This was the perfect place for our socially distanced getaway! We had two families of four and had plenty of space. Scott was very responsive when we did have questions, and the beautiful property had everything we needed. We really appreciated the wildlife sensor and were able to see moose, a fox, deer, a porcupine, and even a bear swimming in the pond. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful amenities
We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Meadow Lodge over Christmas of 2019. It is a wonderful unit. The facility is extremely well stocked with an exceptional supply of kitchen products and spices and other kitchen items. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife right outside the back window. We saw a moose and fox! I would highly suggest that four-wheel-drive is required to utilize the driveway in the winter. Additionally I would not consider the unit ski-in/sk-out unless one is willing to ski on roads where cinder and gravel have been spread which can cause significant damage to the bottom of skis. My biggest disappointment was the lack of clarity on the checkout process. The initial communication simply stated that the dishwasher be loaded and run and trash be put in the trash bin. However, 12 hours prior to departure we received a communication which required additional work and significantly threatened forfeiture of full deposit if things like the grill were not cleaned.

Great location to Breckenridge.
The property was comfortable and it was convenient to drive or walk to Breckenridge. The kitchen was well stocked and had higher end appliances. On the last day we did get to see 2 moose walk right in front of the townhouse.

Exactly what we were looking for...
We highly recommend this home. We stayed 7 days and this felt like home to our family. It was so warm, comfortable and cozy. Their was plenty of room for our family of ten. Three bathrooms are nice in the mornings. Cooking is important to us and we loved the kitchen. Lots of space and everything we needed. The heated garage/playroom really made a difference. I can't imagine storing ten sets of skis, coats, snowboards, boots etc without this space. The boot warmer was awesome. We enjoyed the hottub at night after skiing. The stars were amazing. Foosball table was fun. My grandson beat me every game. Ski In/Ski Out - Really convenient. We read the book on the coffee table and the directions were easy to follow. Ski Out: walk thru the Pines Community. Ski in: Pass the Maintenance Area and watch for the BMX Freestyle Park sign. Use your map on your phone and you will see Grandview Road meeting the edge of Four O'Clock Run. Shuttles: Rode all over town, very convenient. The home has four levels. Master BR upstairs level, Living/Kitchen Main level, Family room level, and two bedrooms on lower level. This really allowed us to have privacy for a nap, reading or relaxing. The animal detector sounded and we got to see moose right in our yard. We had a great time and loved this place. Larry and Maria Fort Worth, Texas

The house is the perfect place to get away and relax. It is equipped with absolutely everything.
This was my first stay in Breckenridge and at the Mountain Meadow. Although nobody is there to show you around, everything is perfectly labeled, they provided a book for activities and town information. The house is secluded and beautiful. The rooms are very spacious were four can easily sleep with comfort. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, they thought of everything! As well as an impressive rack of spices. The patio has an amazing view of a small pond and trees, we saw a Moose that got really close, it was so cool!. There are more animals to see, but just sitting down with a glass of wine to take in the scenery is enough. The house is perfectly located not in town but a very nice walking distance and also the towns free ride is available in the corner of the street. I had the fortune to spend some time with Scott and Karla, they made me feel great about staying at their home, I will for sure come back for ski season. Thank you both for your generosity.

Beautiful house very clean and lots of wildlife
We saw a moose in the backyard within 10 minutes of checking in. Very good setup with two separate living quarters. Would be great for two families or a larger group. Has every kitchen utensil you could ask for. Grill on the deck is great and a gas fire pit on the deck is very nice to have also. The owner is very nice to work with as the hot tub went down and he had it repaired and operational within hours. Overall the place is great. The free bus is less than a 5 minute walk and if you're feeling lazy you can call ski Uber for $16 door to slopes. You can't go wrong with this property and if your looking forward to seeing wildlife this is the best place for that.

Great place, even greater owner for the best vacation ever.
We booked the Mountain meadow lodge for ten days hoping to catch some much needed rest and witness the turning of the leaves as Co welcomed the fall season... Our only regret was to not have booked a longer stay. The owners made the process very easy and we felt welcomed even before we stepped foot into the Meadow lodge. The organization is impeccable, the house is easy to settle into and the "smart house" works for everyone from age 4 to "no limit". We loved every aspect of our stay at the house, the lodge is incredible and the location is phenomenal, we parked the car and were able to enjoy all kinds of hikes directly from house, a short walk (literally 3 minutes) to the bus stop and the options open up, either up to catch the Gondolas or down for a short ride to the town center. Good weather and you will find yourself enjoying a bbq and a soak in the hot tub, bad weather and the entertainment center at the house is there for an evening of Television or a fun time with all the toys and games provided by the owners... you love nature, just grab your coffee in the morning and wait for the Moose to come along, tired of the Moose? just wait a little longer and the white tail fox will come to pay his respects... We loved it, we recommend it, we will return...

Hidden Gem.. Moose, Deer, Fox
We are 4 adults with 6 children under 14 and stayed at this home for 14 days during the March 2016 ski season. The lodge sits above a secluded meadow on a game trail and we saw wildlife every day; including a mother moose and calf. The home was very well organized with an entry/game room with Foosball, electric boot warmers for 12 sets of boots, ski racks, snowboard racks, two clothes racks, two change benches, a bar, a game table, puzzles, and individual storage drawers (named after reindeer?). The kitchen was very organized, with every drawer and cupboard labeled; and we found every appliance and utensil that we could think of. The home had an automatic Roomba vacuum cleaner that vacuumed every day, smartphone chargers everywhere, and an integrated Google Nest thermostat/ceiling fan/ smoke detector system. The deck had a great view as well as a big hot tub, BBQ, outdoor gas fire pit, and new outdoor furniture. There were 5 TV's in the home, 2 separate living areas with gas fireplaces, portable humidifiers and heaters in each bedroom, and crazy fast internet. There was a second outdoor deck, but we did not use it. We chose to ride the 4 minutes on the bus in the morning to get to the mountain and then skiied in every afternoon on "Four O'Clock Run"; but we could have skiied out to the "Snowflake" chairlift in the morning. You can only see one home from the lodge, so it feels like you are in the wilderness; especially with moose and fox around all day. We are working on our dates for next year to book a 14 day stay agaIn.

Awesome stay in Breck!
This home was everything we expected and more! Perfect place, great location, great amenities! There were 11 of us, and there was still plenty of room. Hot tub was great. Perfect weekend vacation for us. Weather was what we were hoping for as well as it snowed 2 days and cleared up the day we left for traveling back. Our kids loved it! There was a foosball table in the changing room too!. Would definitely recommend. One note - as previously stated in other reviews ... you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you plan on visiting in the winter months, as the driveway is downhill. Thanks for everything Scott!

Fun times in Breck at Mt House!
Ohio & Cal family members had a terrific time at the Mt House. Enjoyed the ski in & out, hot tub, well appointed kitchen for breakfast & dinner feasts. The beds and tv rooms & fireplaces were comfy and relaxing. Breckinridge restaurants (Brewery, Eric's, jakes dive bar, canteen, & Columbine all had decent food & atmosphere. We snowshoed at Nordic center & saw a moose cow & baby -awesome. The garage/snow room is exceptional! Owners were very helpful and responsive. Only negative was driveway difficult to navigate due to snowfall. Really great place for skiing and relaxing. John & Mikko
