The room was average for just a place to sleep. There was a problem with the plumbing and water had to run for several minutes to get even lukewarm (not hot) water. Never could get water cool enough for a cool-ish drink of water. No coffee maker, no hair dryer.

Bridgeport Hotel is a yes!
It was a great stay in an over 100 year old hotel. It was decorated in traditional 1800s antiques and wallpaper and was a comfortable room. We will stay there again.

Great place to stay close to Yosemite national park. Nice, clean, quiet, very friendly staff. No refrigerador in the room, but front desk person put our food in their main refrigerator. Breakfast for purchase. Great historical inn!

The bar and restaurant were good, friendly staff. However our room was awful, maybe last updated in the 70's? Dirty floors, torn screens on windows, AC was insufficient, shower/tub was very slippery with no matte. A metal towel holder usually found in bathrooms was mounted above one of the queen beds with clothes hangers.

Historical Building, but it depends on you.
Since it is a historical building, it feells elegant. However, some rooms will have air conditioning, the rest do not. The rooms are upstairs and for the cost, I just don't believe it will be worth for me. While the staff are friendly, the comfort isn't there. If you enjoy staying in a historical landmark or building, this would likely be for you. For me, it was hot (I went on the 4th of July days) and honestly, it was the only place had rooms available. So, if you just want to stay in a small room and only experience how it was like in the old days, this is ok. For me, I couldn't sleep. If they had fans, it'd be better.

Cute, quaint, intimate. A journey back in time but with hot running water and a cold AC unit. Worst part is that I couldn't stay longer but I will definitely be going back.

It had a very homey feel, the staff was amazing at the hotel and the restaurant too! Our room was not in the main house, but it was cute and comfy too! The bed needs to be upgraded, as the springs kept poking me every time I moved. But losing a lil sleep won’t kill anybody. This was a great place to stay that had lots to do! We went to the hot springs and Bodie!! We will be back!!!!

Okay for one night.
No refrigerator, no microwave, strict cancelation policy. Strict check in/out times. AC is loud. Not a welcoming atmosphere. It was okay for one night but it may be worth your time to look elsewhere. Last time I was in Bridgeport I stayed at the Redwood and I wish they had a room available, I would've stayed there. They do have a restaurant at this location but I wont try it.
