It had a very homey feel, the staff was amazing at the hotel and the restaurant too! Our room was not in the main house, but it was cute and comfy too! The bed needs to be upgraded, as the springs kept poking me every time I moved. But losing a lil sleep won’t kill anybody. This was a great place to stay that had lots to do! We went to the hot springs and Bodie!! We will be back!!!!

Okay for one night.
No refrigerator, no microwave, strict cancelation policy. Strict check in/out times. AC is loud. Not a welcoming atmosphere. It was okay for one night but it may be worth your time to look elsewhere. Last time I was in Bridgeport I stayed at the Redwood and I wish they had a room available, I would've stayed there. They do have a restaurant at this location but I wont try it.

Stayed in motel section of the hotel. Clean room. One desk in room but was filled with tv, phone, lamp and router. There was no where to put our things beside the floor.

Ok for one night
The room was clean. The shower head was below my shoulder, I am 5’6, my husband is 5’10. The tub did not drain, I was ankle deep. The restaurant is great, good food, bar was comfy and welcoming. Ok place to stay if you are short

Great stay, and a great restaurant for breakfast!
Went as well as expected, as is at a small town, and older hotel. . . I arrived late, so they taped my needed info to the door. Being older, I was a bit at a loss, as I was instructed to log in on a keypad on the door, and I didn't see on, but not until I touched the area by accident, and it light up like a Christmas tree, displaying an "LED" keypad, instead of a "physical" one, as I was expecting one like a phone keypad; and we were able to get in!

this was a traditional motor inn: simple room with the typical amenities, able to park right outside the door. We've stayed here often, and it works out perfectly for our fishing trips in the area.

The room in the old hotel was so cute and charming and very clean. I had three complaints and they are there was no desk or table in the room to work at. It would have been nice to have a table or suitcase stand to put my luggage on and my third issue was the toilets in the building were all so low they were difficult to use. Also a coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

Great location, close to Bodie, Virginia Lakes, other outdoor attractions. We were a bit surprised that our room had 2 twin beds (thought we booked a double). The water temp in the showers kept wavering from too hot to too cold while we were showering; the lights in the bathroom are on a motion sensor and turn off while you're in the shower. Good restaurant and bar. Also liked "The Rhino" restaurant and bar accross the street

TV didn’t work the first night. Spider webs in the room- on the walls, light fixture and hanging from the evening. Teo single beds. Was told they could fix the Tv until the next day. We had to ask again the next day. Was told they would look into the AAA discount, nothing happened. Beds were uncomfortable. Restaurant was excellent. Coffee in the morning was good.
