Getting Around:
To make the most of your stay here, we would suggest bringing a vehicle with you. There is ample space on the driveway for 7 cars and the property is easily accessible from the M5.
That said, if anyone is travelling by public transport, there are regular fast trains trains from London and Cornwall to Taunton. Taunton station is then just a 15 - 20 minutes taxi ride to the property.
Other Things to Note:
Guest should be aware that there are multiple open bodies of water at the property and children should never be left unattended in these areas.
Dogs are welcome to stay on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.
External CCTV cameras are fitted for your safety and that of the property.
The property is very rural and has more temperamental internet than most are used to. We have tried to combat this by installing Starlink satellite WIFI in addition to the BT network. However, it is still not perfect. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything more that can be done until BT upgrades the local network to full fibre.
If you are interested in a private dining experience during your stay, please get in touch to find out more. Our contact can do both inside catering as well as gourmet BBQs. They can also arrange both bar and serving staff if you want to be fully wined and dined!
Please note, the tennis court is being resurfaced and will not be usable from 9th September to 7th October 2024.
