Really lovely new hotel one block back from beach. Reason for lower rating was the room had no windows and that wasn’t made clear. Room was lovely apart from that but I like fresh air.

We arrived at 3pm which was the check In time. We waited over an hour and ten minutes before we got given the room key. On arrival to the room it wasn’t the room we had booked but in fact a disabled room. We were already late for meeting our friends so I had a shower to get ready it was freezing. No hot water in the room at all. We rang reception and were eventually moved. The room still wasn’t the standard we booked but was ok and the bed was comfortable. This morning my partner dropped his phone and it went under the bed. He lifted the bed for me to retrieve it. There was thick dust and old slippers (the hotel complimentary ones) under the bed. We have stayed at the Maldron when we have travelled to Newcastle and Belfast. It’s a lovely hotel in a central location but does need to be sorted out regarding the cleaning and timing

I wish the property has its own parking area the parking expensive. The buildimg is ok. For healt issue the food could have wider variety like rice veg potato roast chicken se people vant eat beef. Vegetable Lasagna is good The staff anf service is excellent

Really lovely, well-located new hotel in Brighton. Perfect for gigs/events in Brighton. Reasonably priced rooms, although the bar prices are a bit steep! Would absolutely stay again though!

A very nice new Hotel,our room was not ready,so another was alloted Breakfast was not good,hot buffet was COLD,even at 7am the food has dried out. Only scrambled egg,was told after that we could have asked for freshly prepared eggs,nowhere did we see this offered. Will probably go back to Premier Inn next time.

Pros: New hotel, relatively strong shower compared to most hotels, comfortable bed Cons: NO fridge in the room! I got a birthday cake. It was a terrible surprise when I got to my room! No views from my room.

The hotel has literally just opened so of course everything is new and shiny. But it is designed well and stylish. Checking in was very easy and my room was spacious. The window properly opens so there is fresh air which I prefer to air con. The shower is very good and hot water comes quickly. The bathroom is well lit. There’s bottled water and a coffee maker. Room service is 24hr. The bed is very comfortable with quality bedding. Breakfast is a buffet with some things available to order like porridge with a range of toppings. A small niggle is a lack of labelling at breakfast. There were two types of smoothie but nothing to say what they were made of. Juices weren’t labelled. These are small things that can easily be put right. I hope they are because the buffet was very good quality (apart from cheap jams in plastic pods, not very green!). I secured a promotional rate so was very happy on the quality for the price. I hope this hotel continues to maintain this standard and doesn’t inflate prices so it becomes unaffordable.
