The holiday house « Il Picchio » is located in the beautiful Resa Valley (Brione s/Minusio), near Viona village (700 metres above sea level), in a very quiet mountain landscape.
Ideal location for walks in the mountains (Monti di Lego, Cardada), also for daily excursions to nearby valleys (Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia), or to the town of Locarno (16 min. drive). The house is situated 5 min. walk from public free parking.
One floor apartment (46m2) for 4 non-smokers, living room with fireplace, open kitchen, 2 small sleeping rooms, bathroom with shower and double washbasins. Balcony and big garden.
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen, ceramic cooktop, fridge, microwave oven, espresso machine, toaster, kettle, raclette-set, fondue-set.
Rooms: one room with French size bed (160x200), one room with 2 single beds (80x190). All beds have pocket spring mattress. Household linen provided.
WiFi, DVD player and FM Radio.
Hot water boiler, wasching machine, wood heating through fireplace or wood cook stove, balcony with garden-table and wicker armchairs, big garden (500m2), sun beds, parasol and BBQ.
Arrival and departure on Saturday.

Schönes Haus deutlich oberhalb von Locarno
Schönes und sauberes Haus mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche und einem großen Bad. Das Haus ist am Rande eines alten Dorfes gelegen, welches für sich schon sehenswert ist. Was man sich aber bewust machen muss ist die recht lange Anfahrt über kleine Straßen, vom Seeniveau bis zum Haus sind ca. 500 Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Wer damit keine Probleme hat findet hier ein schönes und ruhiges Quartier.

Wunderschöne Lage
Alles hat super unkompliziert funktioniert. Self Check-in war es einfach. Alles super sauber und liebevoll und komplett ausgestattet.
Es ist sehr ruhig und voll in der Natur und dem winzigen Weiler Viona mit alten Tessiner Steinhäuser.
Direkt daneben fliesst ein herrlicher Bergbach. Wir konnten darin Baden und Fischen.
Das wunderschöne Verscasca Tal ist unmittelbar in der Nähe.
Wir haben uns es genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Danke Monika und Andrea

Schönes Ferienhaus am Lago
Unser Aufenthalt in dem Objekt war sehr schön. Wir hatten vorab alle Informationen, der check in lief reibungslos. Der Vermieter kümmerte sich per WhatsApp sehr um uns. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Die Terrasse und der komplett umzäunte Gartem (Zaunhöhe ca. 1/1,20 m) sind ein Traum.
Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist kurvig und steil, aber das weiß man ja vorher. Die letzten ca. 200m muss man zu Fuß zum Haus. Für uns kein Problem.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt an diesem ruhigen Ort sehr genossen.

Ruhe pur
Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas versteckt in einem idyllischen alten Bergdorf. Aber mit der Beschreibung haben wir es schnell gefunden. Außenbereich und innen ist alles neu und sehr sauber. Alle notwendigen Dinge und mehr (Liegen, Outdoorspiele, Grill, Fondue, ..) sind vorhanden. Topp! Nach 3 min. hatte mein Sohn auch schon das W-LAN angeworfen. Auf der überdachten Terrasse haben wir jede Mahlzeit draußen genießen können. Der kostenfreie Parkplatz war ca. 3-5 Min. Fußweg vom Haus entfernt.
Berg- und Waldblick und Garten am Haus, Fluß und Wanderwege direkt am Ort, optimal für Menschen die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Um zum See (Strand, Locarno oder auch tolle Flusstäler) zu gelangen, braucht es ca. 15-20 Min. Autofahrt, ca. 30 Autofahrt bis nach Italien. Wobei jede Autofahrt auch spektakuläre Ausblicke auf See und Berge bietet.
Wir waren mit den Kindern zum Stand-Up-Paddling, so kann man den See auch toll erleben. Ich wäre gern noch mehr gewandert (viele Wanderwege rundum), aber das fand bei den Kids keinen Anklang.

the house is located in old hugd Viona. beautiful view towards Locarno.
you can make enough beautiful walks from the house. You can also see plenty of cages in the surrounding area. the boulevard of locarno and Ascona are definitely worth a visit. the house is well insulated. with enough good facilities. in short, a top house in a top location

Schönes Haus in herrlicher Umgebung
Wir verbrachten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in einem sauberen Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Das Haus hatte alles zu bieten, was man braucht. Locarno und der See waren in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist in dieser Unterkunft richtig aufgehoben.
Kommunikation mit dem Vermiter ebenfalls top. Gerne wieder.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub gür die ganze Familie
War soweit alles tiptop, einzig der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus etwas lang mit zwei kleinen Kindern & zum aus/einladen des Gepäcks... sonst perfekt.

zeer sccoon en mooie ligging
Erg klein en steil eng weggetje 750m omhoog! Scheelt ok standaard 6 graden met Locarno. Is lekker als het erg heet is. Maar tijdens regen snel nig maar 15 graden daarbovenGoed om dat ook te vermelden.

Hoger gelegen vakantiewoning in de bergen met zuiderse inslag
Gezellige, knusse vakantiewoning met alle nodige voorzieningen in orde, aan de rand van een authentiek gehucht. Uitgangspunt voor bergwandelingen. Bereikbaar via typische Tessiner bergweg. (2 à 3 km)

Super gemütliches kleines Haus in den Bergen
Alles da was man braucht... Ideal für Menschen die Ruhe suchen... Erholung pur.. Da kein Lärm nirgends.... Wer gerne Aktion braucht soll runter fahren nach locarno ca 20 min mit dem Auto.... Oben wird es abends sicher auch kälter aber dafür haben sie dort einen Kamin.... Und was es nicht gibt ist... Und das wird leider leider unserer heutige Generation abhalten zu kommen ist TV und Internet..uns egal.. Wir haben zuhause immer alles in Hülle und Fülle zur Verfügung... Da kann man auch mal das Leben genießen wie es früher auch ging.... Lesen.. Spielen... Kochen... Draussen sitzen und in die Ferne guggn.. Alles möglich... Man muss es sich wie eine Berghütte vorstellen... Und das kleine Steinhaus Dorf direkt dahinter ist einfach schön und anzusehen.... Also Leute wenn ihr eine tolle Berghütte inmitten der Natur sucht... Meldet euch bei den Tognis... Und Bucht euch da ne Woche.... Auch der Parklaptz unterhalb der Hauses war täglich frei und kostenlos.... Die beiden Grottos in der Nähe 2 min und 10 min zu fuss entfernt sehr schön.... Und das hochlaufen zum Haus keine 5 Minuten... Nur den Hügel rauf.. Auf einem beleuchteten Weg.... ☀ auch ab 9 Uhr bis abends da... Alles klasse... Nur einen Koffer würde ich nächstes mal nicht nehmen wollen. Ein Backpacker Rucksack wäre ideal oder ein Offroad Bollerwagen 😁 wir werden sicher noch einmal wieder kommen... Wir konmten uns erholen.. Dafür sind wir in den Urlaub gefahren... Viele Grüße Martina und Christopher... Grüzi und Ciao
