Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic. We had a great stay and would stay again without hesitation. Only downside was no hot water in Sunday morning due to a boiler fault. That's the only negative in an overall positive experience.

On a two day visit to Bristol, we found the hotel met all our needs. Within easy walking/ bus distance of visitor attractions. Friendly efficient hotel staff. Good well appointed rooms ( but the cooling/ heating system was unresponsive). The on-site Kiln restaurant had both character and good food (dinner and breakfast).

Hotel was much nicer inside than the slightly unprepossessing exterior. Our room was clean and comfortable. Check in was swift and efficient. Very close to Temple Meads station and a short walk into the centre for bars, restaurants etc.

Our king size bed was extremely comfortable including the pillows. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Hotel parking although an extra charge was very convenient and hotel location was within walking distance from the harbour side area of Bristol. The warm cookies provided on check-in were a pleasant surprise!

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the main station which was convenient for me. Inside it looks like it had been refurbished recently as everything was pristine. I wasn't driving but it did have a large car park (I think you have to pay though). The room was comfortable, nice bathroom and breakfast was good.
