Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was particularly nice and catered well for vegans. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I loved the atmosphere and the staff were so polite. The room has very calming and the bed was comfy and pillows. The curtains were black out. I woke up thinking it was 3am but was actually 9am - they were that good! Highly recommend this hotel. I will be going to Moxy again

Nice modern hotel, perfectly located for overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were great. We spent some time in the bar playing pool and other games which was fun and added entertainment to our evening.

The staff were very fendly, they asked if I'd like a room on the quiet side if the hotel, which I did. I was also given a free Moxy Cocktail 🍸 in the bar. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice and very good coffees.

We really enjoyed our stay, we loved the funky design of the room, the view was excellent and just across the road for shopping and our venue. We will definitely be coming back.

Wanted somewhere with parking close by and walking distance to the venue. This is perfect. Love how quirky and modern it is too . Soundproofing helped a lot. You can turn the temp down if too hot for you. Best light was in the bathroom. Quite dark in main room but lots of light options including motion sensor ones so you can see to get to bathroom during the night. Breakfast is buffet style and best to make the most of it as £15 a person. Would stay here again if we are in Bristol another time. They allow dogs and cats too if you need to bring them.

Overzealous security gimp
My stay was ruined by an overzealous security gimp on the front door who refused entry to three of my friends who were seeking a safe and warm place in the hotel lobby to wait for their cab home at 1am on a cold November night. I will never stay at a Moxy again based on the attitude and lack of consideration for wellbeing and safety. The scruffy guy at reception was no better when I complained either. Being a frequent business traveller who has spent a significant amount of time and money staying in Marriott hotels all over the world (and in some locations that are considerably less safe than St Paul's in Bristol), I shall now think twice before choosing to stay in another of their group hotels.

Very good. Clean, comfortable, quiet (at least it is on the quiet side. I can't vouch for what they call the "city view" side, but I very much appreciated being offered the choice. Friendly staff, nice rooms, late bar, good location, though there's not too much immediately around the hotel because it's right on the main road.
