We enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed for one night, so can’t do a full commentary however, all the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our dinner in the dining lounge. Lots of options. The room was clean and perfect for us a bit on the smaller side, but worked really well for our little family unit. Love the little single beds for our kids.

Absolutely excellent except for car park on way out. No exit signs. Also, my ticket had paid on it and signed by staff but I could not get out. I rang the call button 3 times as a queue was behind me. No answer. I managed to get the cars behind to reverse and I went back to reception. They said I was told but i did not recall as they spoke quickly with thick accents. They said I could press the call button, when I said I had they said it never rang their end but no one made a note to call maintenance so would happen again. Shame as it marred what was a lovely stay but not enough to put me off. I would definitely come back and have recommended you to all my colleagues who visit our West of England hub. Just some exit signage and clearer insrtuctions would help for validation

Nothing special. Booked for 2 x adults and 2 X children, only 3 bed spaces made up. Alerted reception at around 4pm just after we checked in and told that housekeeping would sort. Went out, upon our return at 7:30pm with tired children the bed was still a sofa. Receptionist came up with some sheets as housekeeping had gone home. They did offer to make the bed but we did it ourselves. Dodgy brown stains on the quilt. Sofa beds ran at an angle so felt like you were laid on a hill. TV was dated and a pain to work with minimal channels. Pillows hard. Bed not comfortable. Suspicious fluid stains all over the wooden headboard which showed themselves in the glow of my phone screen Various noises heard from elsewhere in the property disturbing sleep. Everything at reception seemed to take a bizarre amount of time and everything seemed to require trips to reception. Queue to check in. Find a problem, call reception, no answer. Back down to queue to tell them the issue. Paid for parking upon check in. If we want to leave the car park we have to queue up for them to scan our ticket When we want to check out, again we have to queue up to scan the ticket. Much better hotels around!

We arrived at the hotel a little bit earlier but the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and they managed to let us have 2 of the 3 rooms early. We decided to add breakfast which was very tasty and a great choice of food.

Expensive for a very mediocre stay. Shower was terrible - low pressure and taking ages to get hot water to run in. The thermostat did not keep the temperature stable. Pillows were lumpy and not comfortable. Not the great experience I would have expected for nearly £150/night!
