Ideally situated for exploring Broadstairs, on foot and well placed should you wish to explore more of Kent. An array of coastal delights are within walking distance; starting with Ramsgate 40 minutes (2 miles) with its port and array of restaurant and bars and Margate 2 hours (5.5 miles) with the Turner Contemporary, Dreamland and Old Town shops and restaurants. Both towns are also easily accessible on the Loop bus. The cobbled streets of historic Canterbury are a 45-minute drive away and the port of Dover, overlooked by the famous white cliffs and hill perched castle, is a 35-minute drive away, should you feel tempted by a day trip to France.
