Cubs Corner is a custom built luxury cabin nestled in the highly favored Kanitobe Trails SouthWest area. Paved roads and a 1.34 acre spacious corner lot located near the Kiamichi forest offer you the sense of seclusion in the middle of the action. Enjoy a relaxing vacation located just minutes from all the Hochatown restaurants, the Broken Bow Lake, the Cedar Creek Golf Course, Girls Gone Wine, and Beavers Bend State Park.

Perfect for 2 couples, 2 families or 1 large family, this new cabin completed in June of 2020, offers two king bedrooms with beautiful roomy ensuite baths and TVs for each room. There’s a half bath off of the living room and 3 twin built-in bunks in the loft offers sleeping for extra cubs. Enjoy your favorite game or movie on the flat screen satellite TV while getting in a friendly game of pool upstairs in the game loft.

Natural rock gas fireplaces inside and out, beautiful stained concrete floors downstairs and hand scraped hardwood floors in loft, and direct access to the covered wrap-around porch and hot tub from each master bedroom are just a few of the perks at Cubs Corner. Cubs Corner has a fully furnished custom designed kitchen and offers spacious room for dining and entertaining. An open concept dining area and living room with big, beautiful windows, lounge chairs, leather sofa, and flat screen satellite TV will be the perfect place to unwind after a day on the golf course, lake, or park.

Outside you’ll find the hot tub, dining table, gas fireplace and Flatscreen TV, fire pit, gas grilling station, and playground area . You can sip your morning cup of coffee or relax and read a book on the walk-around, covered deck while watching the kids play.

Beds: Two kings, 3 twin beds

Maximum Occupancy: 8 (adults, children 2+) Cabin sleeps 7 so bring a cot for the 8th. Exceeding the maximum occupancy without prior approval results in additional charges and/or eviction without refund. Overcrowding of cabin is not allowed.

Sorry NO PETS ALLOWED

Free WI-FI and DirecTV included in all cabin rentals. Please note - we have signed up for the fastest and most reliable internet in the area, but wifi/internet is not guaranteed. The local internet company is responsible for the operation of the internet lines.

A starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish washing liquid, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, laundry soap, coffee, coffee filters (bring your own k-cups) , and salt/pepper will be provided for your stay. All cabins have fully equipped kitchens, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, towels, and linens.

Propane is provided for gas grill.

We drain and sanitize our hot tubs after every check-out.

Gas Fireplaces are seasonal October 1 thru Easter.

Perfect for families
We stayed at Cub’s Corner with our family of 5 (kids ages 8, 6, and 4) and my parents (the grandparents). It was the perfect set up for our group. The kids loved the beds in the loft and the playset. It had plenty of towels and blankets. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors were a bit loud on Saturday but we still enjoyed our time. Although there are several houses in the area, the back yard and side yard feel secluded. We even saw deer come by in the morning.

We loved our time here! The cabin was perfect and even better than the pictures. The kids loved the play set outside and the cubby beds upstairs! Not an issue with the cabin, but be prepared for VERY bumpy roads in the neighborhood leading up to the house.

FABULOUS CABIN
We LOVED this cabin! Everything was perfect, beautiful tasteful decorations and comfortable furniture. Private and quiet. The back deck and fire area were so nice for conversation and relaxing. We loved playing pool. The road into the community it's could use a few patches, but that did not stop us from enjoying the town, river and lake. Thank you!!

The most beautiful cabin with unforgettable views and lots of memories. We truly felt at home and made the best memories. Family Retreat
We stayed at Cub's Corner to celebrate my wife's birthday. We all loved the cabin and had a wonderful 3 days together as a family. Best of all, my wife absolutely loved everything about the cabin, saying it was her best birthday ever. She talked about making it an annual family event. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and perfectly situated and surrounded by towering pines. The deer feeder at the back of the lot drew 7-8 deer morning and evening. We loved sitting on the porch by the outdoor fireplace watching them feed as the squirrels cleaned up the extra food on the ground. The cabin, in general, is beautifully equipped and furnished, with standouts being the master bath, kitchen and family room. We stayed there in early December and the cabin was decorated for the Holidays, adding an extra festive touch to our family getaway. The only complication during our stay was with check-in. I called to double check the code for entry to the cabin and was given incorrect information by a Vrbo customer service person. I tried contacting the property manager, but did not receive a reply. Fortunately, we had two twenty somethings in our group who were able through some trial and error to gain us entry to the cabin. In fairness, I'm a seasoned citizen who finds anything but a key and lock somewhat confusing. All in all, it was one of the most pleasant and memorable mini-vacations our family has ever enjoyed, due in large part to this lovely property. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was great for my family. We had a blast - however I suffer from allergies and it is extremely dusty inside the cabin which made the entire stay a fight with allergies that I couldn’t evade.

Great Cabin Getaway
Enjoyed Thanksgiving at the cabin. This cabin was so well stocked with so much to do. Multiple TVs with satellite (easy football watching), hot tub, fire pit, play set, outdoor games, indoor games, toys, pool table and more! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a big meal. The upstairs bunks were a hit and perfect for the kids to unwind in their own space. Highly recommended for the Broken Bow area! Super clean and new!

Peaceful and beautiful
My family and I absolutely had a wonderful time here! We honestly had a hard time leaving the cabin! Our trip was mostly about taking a time out from our everyday busy life. We did leave the cabin a few times to explore the area and we were very happy that our kids enjoyed their time there as well!!! Nothing but great memories of this trip! Stepping into Cubs Corner was like stepping into a designer home! Arriving at night with all the rooms lit was so inviting. The beautiful Christmas decor made us feel so special. The kitchen was really easy to cook in and the island was a favorite spot. Truly a cabin for all ages. Really enjoyed the loft to hang out with the teenagers. A pool table, video game & large tv for family movies was just perfect. Not to forget watching football from the hot tub or getting in a few games of corn hole! Great family memories & we hope to be back to experience summertime in Hochatown. Don’t forget your SUV though-the road is rough but worth the adventure!

Perfect for our family!

We enjoyed a 3 nights stay with children of all ages. We could t have asked for a better property. The only downfall were the roads leading to the cabin. Potholes you can lose your car in. The property itself was amazing and very accommodating. We will be back.

Awesome property and location!
Cubs Corner was fantastic! The space, the openness, the two king suites, and convenience to food and fun couldn’t have been better! We enjoyed our hikes and boat rental all inside of Beaver’s Bend State Park the 5 days we spent in Hochatown. The house was so nice, even just staying in was a relaxing and enjoyable comfort as part of our getaway from home. I’d recommend this property and its hosts to anyone!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The owners were extremely easy to work with, kind, and so welcoming. I love that inside there’s stuff not only for the adults to enjoy like the pool and hot tub, but also toys for the littles. We all very much enjoyed and can’t wait to come back.
