We had so much fun. We rented a utv from Headwaters Polaris in Watersmeet. Fun It was nice just to relax in the other days. Places to eat are very close. You could walk. We didn’t use the sauna or pool table. The place has everything you need. If they don’t the grocery store is in walking distance. There is a dollar general around the corner. There is a baseball diamond next to the place and a church on the other side. We will probably rent it again. Thanks for letting us use your place.

Cozy and comfortable.
I highly recommend this property. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. Nicely redone with plenty of space. The basement is a good spot to shoot pool and play darts and even has a pac man arcade game. You can play music and not worry about bothering neighbors because there are no houses on either side of the property. The owner stays in contact with you in case you need anything and is very hospitable. There is a cafe across the street with delicious food. I got eggs and toast and my toast was made from homemade bread. So good.

Perfect for trail riding
This property was perfect for a group of 4 guys riding orv trails. We each had a private space. We had easy access to trails. We had a kitchen to make meals in. The house is clean and comfy. Not the most modern but it’s perfect for what we needed. The property manager was easy to contact with questions. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers

Nice but odor issues
Everything went well but something is off with odor issues. Room in basement had severe odor coming from closet area. Not sure but there may be some mold issues as the guy that slept 1 night in that room got sick he spent the rest of the stay on the couch. There are fragerance dispensers throughout the house that dispense frequently round the clock. Host apologized and thanked us for bringing it to his attention and said he would look into it.

Yearly West U.P. Sled Trip
This was one of the nicer places (we thought) to stay at. The location is awesome for a group that doesn't want to haul more than what's necessary for a few days of riding. All the conveniences, gas, grocery store and even a bar and restaurant are only a block or two away, Its nice and roomy for a small group. The snowmobile trail is just down the street, and (as in are case) if grade trail is melted down its only a 20 min drive to a trailhead to the north or west.

John has a very nice house that we stayed in. Beds were great. Living room furniture is very nice. Overall great place to stay and great location close to Chars Restaurant which has great food for breakfast lunch and dinner. The bar next door has great pizza. Also the co-op which is the gas station, grocery store, hardware and bakery is a great place to shop. John was great to deal with and just a text or call away. Would recommend and would book it again.

Great place! Good location, right on snowmobile trail. 24 hour gas station. Grocery store, restaurant, bar and grill within a short walk. Our group was 9 adults. Plenty of room. Every thing was right as told. Would stay again.

Drove up from Minneapolis with 5 Friends for a long weekend of ATV riding. The house was perfect for us. All of our expectations were met. John is a great host with outstanding communication and care for his renters. Char's Cafe is within walking distance with great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Settlers Co-op is right there as well. Fuel pumps, convenience store, bakery, deli, hardware, fishing and hunting supplies and a full grocery store. Just a few blocks from the ATV and Snowmobile Trail.

Great for ATV or Snowmobile riding!
Our primary intent was ORV riding during the fall color peak in the U.P. Our stay was only 2 nights, but would have loved to stay longer. This is an excellent location, centralized amongst some beautiful sights. You also can access a main trail right from the property. Everything is as described and the owner went above and beyond to help us maximize the brief amount of time we had. I'll definitely book again next time we are going to ride in the area!

Our stay was everything that we expected.
The convenience was great with the snowmobile tail and convenient store only two blocks away. Large plowed out yard to park 4 place trailers and more. The house was great for 10 people, the advertisement is spot on.
