My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Lucca! The hotel was so charming with our spacious very clean room that was beautifully furnished with antiques. A delicious breakfast was provided every morning that included fresh fruits, perfectly boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh meats and cheeses along with coffee/tea/hot chocolate to drink. The hotel was conveniently located with a short walk to the market and many local shops. Hans the owner any his staff were so kind and very informative of the history of the area as well as driving to near by attractions. Five stars and more if I could give them!

This is hotel is in an old building without elevators, but our bags were taken to our room before I finished checking in. I wanted a room with multiple beds and the quad room we received felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. There were no cooking facilities, but there was a small fridge and a separate sitting area, so we were quite comfortable. The bathroom was large and well equipped, The proprietor, Hans, was quite friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was a great way to get the day started. Recommended!

The room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath tub. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was very good in a 14th century dining room. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. I would recommend.

The hotel is beautiful! Full of antiques and curios. The patron is a very interesting chap and great to talk to. His piano recitals are fabulous too! Great breakfast in the old cellar capped off a memorable night and few days in Bruges Highly recommended

Very nice hotel
The owner of the hotel is very accommodating and the breakfast was very good. He actually makes the tea and coffee for breakfast. He helped us with anything that we asked him and he even played the piano this morning before we left.

Beautiful hotel with individual and historical rooms but still with all the modern facilities to have a very comfortable stay. Wonderfully helpful and interesting owner who provided great advice on how to get the most out of our stay in Bruges. Perfectly located for walking around all the main sites as well as heading off the beaten track.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay in a hotel that was of a Belgium/European style. The hotel delivered! Breakfast was included and consisted of many fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and then an eclectic buffet of different meats (not breakfast kind - more like ham/salami), cheeses, tomatoes and cucumbers. I didn't ask but the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Everything I ate was delicious. Hanz, the owner, is friendly and helpful! I do wish the TV (not that I watched a lot of it) had a few more channels with good pictures, a lot of the channels seemed scrambled (perhaps an antenna would solve this issue). There is a closet to hang up clothes and jackets, but I would have liked to have had a dresser (in lieu of the desk) in the room also for clothes that don't require hanging up. Overall a great experience!
