When we arrived we found that there was a hair in the shower, the floors were sticky, and the dishes may have been wiped out but definitely not washed. However, the manager on duty was quick to correct the problems.

First Time on Jekyll Island
I was on Jekyll Island for a three day conference. The Conference Center was less than a five minute walk from this facility. This was my first time I was on Jekyll Island and the front desk employees I had contact with were amiable and professional. "Brandy" helped me tremendously by printing out a one page document required for the conference. The parking area is large and free after paying the $10.00 fee to come on Jekyll Island. Beach access is also less than a five minute walk behind the adjacent Westin. I opted to walk on the beach during my short visit instead of trying out the inviting pool and exercise room. Though traveling alone, I felt safe during my visit while in the hotel, walking through the village and on the beach. My room was huge, clean, and contemporary. The bed and pillows were wonderful, allowing me to sleep well. The breakfast was more than adequate, offering coffee, tea, hot cereal (and toppings), yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, make your own waffles, and Grab and Go egg, sausage (some chicken sausage), cheese on a whole grain bagel, English muffin, or brioche bun. I was pleased that the breakfast was heartier than typical donuts and pastries offered elsewhere.

I love being able to use the App to open our door and gym facility. I always have my phone, but can never keep track of a key card! Loved the kitchen/full fridge! Wonderful staff

This was our first trip to Jekyll Island. Overall, the hotel was nice, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. As a family of 5 with kids, our favorite amenities were the free breakfast and the swimming pool. The beach is a short walk from the hotel and there is a small shopping/dining village just next to the hotel. The area is quiet and very family friendly. Our only issue was that the wifi was down at the hotel all week. We heard later in the week that the wifi was back up, but we tried on two separate occasions to connect the TV in the room to Netflix and it never worked. The manager was kind enough to give us a credit due to the wifi issue. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel.

Our room was large, lovely, and comfortable. This hotel is not on the beach, but we could see the ocean from our room overlooking the pool. Beach was a quick walk away. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more gluten-free options available at breakfast. The only things available were fruit, eggs, or grits (which always carries a risk of cross-contamination, for those with celiac). I would certainly stay here again, though!

We had an amazing time on Jekyll. The internet did not work in our room or most of the hotel for our entire stay. That was disappointing but out of their control. Staff was very friendly. Hotel also charged the entire amount on two differnet cards which was frustrating. But overall enjoyed our stay. Loved being able to rent bikes straight from the hotel just wish you didn't have to return by 6:30 pm when it doesnt get dark until 9.

Not on the water, but close. My only real complaint is the pet fee. Typically, hotels charge 15-35 dollars. This place charged 75. The room was fine for a one night stay or a weekend. Not sure I would chose it if I was staying longer. I've stayed at Jekyll Island Club and that was better ( but also more expensive ).
