There is no formal reception desk and the staff sitting at the bar with her laptop just checked us in. The room was a standard size room, on the 4th floor overlooking the street. All night there was a lot of sound coming in from the room next door and sound of traffic outside was too much for us to sleep. Next morning when we complained to the staff at the reception, the guy offered us another room on 3rd floor with facing the courtyard. It was an identical room but the problem was the AC, which we brought to their attention straight away. They sent an engineer who promised to lower the temperature but even then nothing happened though we were assured that the room would cool down by night time. When we went to bed at night, the room was no cooler and when we complained, we were given a fan. The worst part was the AC rattled all night, making a constant noise and the sound kept us awake. So the next morning we complained again and the engineer was sent again. And on the final third night we could sleep peacefully. The bathroom was quite small, they only gave shower gel and shampoo in a bottle stuck on the wall. There was no body lotion, or hair conditioner or soap. There was no bathrobe or slippers. It did not feel like a four-star hotel at all. On the positive, the bed was comfortable and there were adequate USB ports. There was drinking water in the hallway for us to fill up. The lobby was big, and had free tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A cracking hotel
Second time staying at this hotel which is a 5 minute walk from the middle of Brussels but just far enough to be away from the huddle and bustle. Rooms are smallish but have everything you need.

Super convenient and clean
It’s a pretty small room, with only a king sized bed and two bedside tables and not much space left. The location is super super convenient, a few minutes walk from station and the town centre. The air conditioner is very cool, perfect for summer. I like the hard wood floor (not carpet) which is clean and spotless. There’s no extractor fan in the bathroom so it turns steamy after shower. The hotel provides free coffee and snack in the lobby . Gym room looks great though I don’t have time to use it . Will book again if I go back to Brussels .

This hotel is so amazingly cool. Very Friendly and helpful staff great reception area welcoming customers with nice fresh coffee all day and comfortable, beautiful lobby area. Excellent central location close to many historical buildings and very nice and affordable restaurants.
