Perfect house for a weekend retreat for up to two families. This two-bedroom/two-bath house has 2 bunk-beds with trundles in the living room. 107 feet of lake-front on Lake LBJ. Located at the top of Lake LBJ, approximately 100 yards from the start of the shallow area with large rocks that has no boat traffic, where you can enjoy peace of mind while kayaking and paddle boarding.

2-story dock on Lake LBJ with retractable stairs into the water. It's a great place to swim (at your own risk) or fish (with your own equipment and any required permit).

Please look at the photos of the path from the house to the lake to make sure the steep path is okay for your needs. Use at your own risk.

- NOTE: The lake-access area of the property has stairs and a slope. It may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features exterior security cameras, located in the doorbell, above the shed, near the backdoor and near the lake. All cameras are facing outward. They do not look into interior spaces. The cameras are only used in between rentals, they are turned off when the property is rented.

Beautiful location on Lake LBJ, close to the Inks Lake dam which is great for kayaking. This home has a great boat dock, especially the upper deck area which was great for relaxing throughout the weekend. We took jet skis, there is no jet ski ramp but we put one ski on the boat lift and tied one off on the fold down ladder and that worked for the weekend. The boat launch was convenient and near the house. This home is perfect for two couples and some small children for a nice visit to the lake.

Amazing Dock and Pet Friendly Home
The dock here is amazing!! The kids had a blast jumping off the top and we were able to keep our boat on the lift after dropping it in the lake at the ramp just a few houses down the street. The additional lake toys including the lily pad and kayaks were amazing. A short kayak trip down the river towards inks dam and you will see tons of turtles sun bathing! While the house is simple and rustic it is comfortable and well outfitted. Great communication with the host, she answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. House was not just pet friendly but built for guests with Pets with a kennel, dog dishes and a fence around the back yard!

Enjoyed our stay. The dock was really nice and were able to sit on upper level to enjoy the day since it was covered. Couple in master bedroom loved the bed. Area was peaceful and it was restful. One issue was that the bathrooms were both in the main bedrooms and only had a curtain in place of doors. A little awkward but we were family. Had to wait to use bathroom if someone was sleep. Also, I missed that there was no dishwasher so I would recommend bringing paper plates so you don't have to wash dishes for all meals.

Everything you want in a Lake House!
It was perfect! Beautiful yard and youā€™re right on the water. We spent most of our time just sitting in the yard enjoying the location. Even when your inside the house, there are so many windows and the view is fantastic. Not only do they allow dogs, they go out of their way to make sure your furry family members have a great experience too. Crate, dog toys, water bowlsā€¦ Jennifer was a great at communicating as well. Iā€™m very happy with my stay!

We liked the property, but it was not as clean as it should be. Location was excellent. Owner offered a longer stay, only to cancel offer in less than an hour from offering. Very heart breaking we would have loved to stay. Beware of your expectations.

Great week vacation!!
My family absolutely loved staying at this property!! It had everything we wanted and more. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly if I had any questions. The boat dock with boat lift was very convenient being able to get the boat out of the water each night. We enjoyed sitting on the deck during the day and even at night. My family will definitely be going back next summer!!

Great Family Fun
Great communication with property manager for any needed information at any time of the day and quick response, before renting and during our stay. The house was clean and had many needed things, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, kayaks, floats, life jackets, and more. The view was beautiful and the fishing or swimming from the dock was great. (Ladder from the dock to get out of lake šŸ‘) The only thing was the steep ramps down to the dock may be a little difficult to maneuver down for elderly or people with unstable knees. There were some steps on the side but again, steep side down to the steps first. Other than that- great place for vacay to relax!

This place was perfect!
We were lucky enough to be the very first renters of this propertyā€¦ 2 dads and a bunch of kids! The first thing to compliment is the amazing communication before ever arriving. Upon arrival, we realized that the set up was perfect for our 2 families. There are two very nice, private bedrooms on either end of the house with an open floor plan in the middle (w/ 4 sets of bunk beds for the kids). The open area has a large dinner table, couch, 2 televisions and even board games. They have internet and Smart TVs which allowed us to watch a boxing match that we thought we might miss! The kitchen was perfect and made cooking easy. The true beauty of this place is outside the back door! We could watch the kids swim from the porch. The boat lift is awesome and our kids must have jumped from the top of it 50 times! (I donā€™t know if Iā€™m supposed to say that but we used a depth finder and the water below is at least 15 feet!) There is a lower rope swing as well for the younger kids! Most importantly, this place is set aside by the amazing water temperature! As we boated further down the lake, we found the water to get warmer and MUCH less refreshing! Luckily, this location is close enough to the dam that the water is the PERFECT temperature to cool down! It was absolutely amazing! *So clear that you can see below your feet! Although we did enjoy boating throughout the LBJ, The boat traffic is far less on this end of the lake as well! We found the best area to wakeboard and wakesurf was actually right near the house (which saved us on gas -and that was incredibly significant over 4 days!) There is a perfect, private boat launch within walking distance. I know Iā€™m leaving out a ton of wonderful and important things that Iā€™ll later rememberā€¦ but overall this trip was amazing because we got lucky and booked the perfect place!
