Great place
Wonderful location and place. Easy walks to so many places. Apartment was perfect for the six of us with comfortable beds. Just a couple of recommendations: instructions on heating, access to a mop and broom and a few more blankets. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the help with arranging taxi’s and tickets. Thank you!

We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in Budapest and loved this property. The apartment is airy, spacious and situated in a vibrant but quiet area. It had everything our group of 5 could want. The booking process, communication with the owners, airport pick up, check in, check out and airport departure could not have been better. The location of the apartment is very convenient and we ended up walking just about everywhere we went over 5 days. Uber is not available in Hungary and we sometimes found taxis and Bolt to be less than reliable and we were so happy with the convenient location. This property is highly recommended.

Hard to believe my good fortune
From the moment I first saw this property on VRBO, it made my heart sing. Very beautiful, great utilities, spacious and in a great location. Gal communicated in a timely way with appreciated detail. Her visit with us when first arriving was very helpful. Always good to feel comfortable with appluances in a new place! Gal also got us tickets for the top two baths (although if I were doing it again, I would go to Széchenyi twice and not bother with Gellert. Gellert was too much of a drunken baccahanal for my tastes). I highly recommend this property

Very nice property!
Very nice property in a perfect location! Short walk to attractions, shopping, restaurants and the Danube. We were 6 friends, apartment was perfect for us with enough space, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It is just like the pictures. Also received very good information from manager regarding our stay, and our questions regarding suggestions of restaurants and transportation in Budapest. Very much recommend this place!

Best place to stay in Budapest!
the apartment was huge! recently renovated, had a fully modern kitchen & 3 bathrooms! We were 6 in the family, my wife and I, 2 daughters & my son & his wife. there was room for all. [when you travel with 4 women, bathrooms and hot water are a BIG deal] this place was amazing! its location, in the heart of downtown was perfect for us. we walked everywhere! lots of great restaurants were footsteps from our door. highly recommended!

Lovely apartment, great location!
Very spacious quiet apartment but very close to shops, restaurants, bakeries. Only 10mins walk to Danube and No.2 tram. Great restaurant close by called Fat Mo's, fab food and service plus live music. Hajnal & Viktor very helpful both before we left home and during our stay. 3 good size bedrooms & bathrooms, would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment, very clear instructions for easy access , lovely lady to deal with . Recommended to a friend who immediately booked another property belonging to the same lady ! Fantastic large apartment in the heart of Budapest
This apartment is fantastic, delicious food and plenty of activities and sites just steps away. Close to the market, and public transportation, but with Budapest being such a walkable city we enjoyed just strolling from this large well appointed home base. Hajnal is a fantastic hostess and helped organize airport transportation and bath house tickets. She was quick to respond and communications were excellent.

Great location and nice apartment
This apartment has a great location and was perfect for three couples. The apartment is quite large and each couple had their own room and bathroom, two of which are ensuite. The living and dining room are also nice size so you never feel crowded. The checkin and check out process was easy and the owner was very helpful.

Impeccable property ideal for two couples
The immaculate, spacious, and artfully decorated apartment is ideally situated in the old city, next to a pleasant square and steps from an array of coffee houses, restaurants, bakery and small market. Property manager Hajnal Gal contributed much to our enjoyment by orienting us to the apartment and to the nearby area, assisting with ordering taxis and arranging tickets for concerts, and in other very helpful ways. This charming apartment is a perfect base to explore and learn about a graceful, intoxicating city and its history, cuisine, and cultural attractions.

Great location, large rooms, well equipped and clean.
The location of this apartment is excellent. Short walk to subway stations and bus stops, there are many restaurants around, and you can walk to a lot of attractions. The owner was very helpful and responsive, answered all my questions before our visit. My husband and I had five star rental home through VRBO for 6 years, and we understand how much it takes to get guest satisfactions. This property is very well kept, clean, and equipped with good quality towels and kitchen tools. We were very happy to find the property and yes, I recommend this apartment to my friends!

Perfect home away from home
This was an absolutely perfect choice for my family of 10. The beds were all super comfy, plenty of space to spread out, walking distance to everything, well equipped kitchen, and a hostess who took great care of us from arranging transportation to everything. Thank you Hajnal!

Three ladies we stayed in this lovely apartment 13-16dec and enjoyed it tremendously the apartment is very clean everything you need if you want to cook we just had breakfast here and ate out We each had a lovely bedroom and bathroom each. The apartment is close to everything we are in our 60s and walked everywhere so it’s pretty central We saw a lot of the beautiful city on a hop on bus the Christmas lights were lovely and plenty of them. Also we had snow and it was very cold but the apartment is lovely and warm will return

Couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay for our trip!
Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly going above and beyond to make our trip effortless from arranging airport transfers to helping with restaurant recommendations and accommodating various other requests and questions we had! The flat has so much room and was immaculate and clean as well as very warm and cosy . The location was perfect - quiet corner and short strolls away from the hustle and bustle of city centre and easy access across the river too. Will definitely be recommending it and hopefully returning too one day! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful, gorgeous apartment!
This apartment was HUGE! The price was amazing for the size of this place. It is in a very quaint neighborhood, giving you a great aspect of old Budapest. Lots of restaurants nearby and metro such a few blocks away.

Beautiful apartment in a central location.
6 of us (aged 14-82 years) have just returned from a lovely four night stay in this beautiful apartment. From the time of booking, everything went smoothly and Hajnal was quick to respond to any messages. The apartment was a real home from home, equipped with everything you could require and was clean and comfortable. After very busy days out it was a pleasure to come back to the apartment and relax with a glass of wine (there is a wine rack of various wines that you can drink and then pay for/replace...which was a nice touch). All of the 3 bedrooms are equally nice...there is an en-suite triple at one side of the apartment (which looks out onto the front door walkway) and a further (larger) en-suite triple and a double/twin on the other side looking out onto the street below. There is also another shower room. We weren't disturbed by noise and all had good nights sleep. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is a small, old lift. The apartment was in a great position, being only 5-10 min walk to the Liberty Bridge, with the great market hall there and there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the apartment if you don't want to venture far after a tiring day out sight-seeing (and a Starbucks opposite). We will definitely look at booking this apartment again when we return to Budapest! Thanks Hajnal for a memorable stay.

Very spacious, beautifully renovated, in perfect location
This apartment was perfect for the 5 of us - my two daughters, their husbands and I stayed here for over a week. The large bedrooms and three bathrooms meant we could spread out and be very comfortable - or enjoy the large living room together. The kitchen is well equipped and very modern. The location couldn’t be better, within easy walking distance of everything in the downtown area and near Metro and streetcar stops. Excellent nearby restaurants and cafes and the interesting neighborhood add to the pleasure of staying here. Our host was very helpful and reliable and always answered requests quickly. Most highly recommended!!

Budapest at its Best
My husband and I and two friends had the pleasure of staying at Ella's place for eight days beginning on September 9th. When choosing a VRBO rental, I always go straight for the reviews, which is the reason I myself take the time to submit them. I figure if a property has virtually all 5-star reviews, then it must be fantastic, and that was certainly the case here. Communication beforehand was excellent and fast and everything went seamlessly. Our friends arrived before we did and got the key and explanations from Viktor, Ella's husband. After my husband and I arrived and we reviewed all the supplies, we noted we were a bit short on paper towels, hangers and dish clothes. I texted Ella the items and she arranged for Viktor to come by with them the next day, which was great as I always like to meet with the Owners so they can explain the way the appliances work, etc. Vikor showed up right on time the next day and brought everything we had asked for. He was charming and quite fluent in English, as is Ella. The apartment itself was huge, accommodating and immaculate - as good or better than the pictures. Having the three bathrooms, which was one of the main reasons we chose this unit, was a luxury that we became quite used to! As stated by so many others, the location was ideal. We took a cab a couple of times, but could really have walked everywhere except for one location of a private dinner. A dozen plus nice restaurants are within a 2-10 minute walk. We did not have a bad meal in any of them, and it is an easy walk to the Hotel Mecure, which is a location you can give for a pick-up for any tours that you book. I had forgotten to pack my bathing suit, but Ella came to the rescue, via text, by telling me the location of a store 10 minutes away where I was successful in buying one for $30 - cheaper than at home. (BTW, all of Budapest is a great bargain!) I needed it for the Szechenyi Baths the next day - highly recommended! Not that confusing and yes you are fully clothed! Just read Rick Steves account of it in his Budapest book if you have doubts or questions. We loved Budapest and had a wonderful trip. I won't go into the highlights or tours as those can be read elsewhere, but I wanted to say thanks to Ella and Viktor and give their place my highest recommendation. We would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect Location. Wonderful apartment for a group.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of this apartment is perfect. It is across the street from the central market and walking distance to everything in the old town. The restaurant downstairs was highly rated and it was very good. The apartment is spacious, well stocked and updated tastefully. Haj was a very good host and left some really good recommendations for the area.
