No elecricity!!!
Shocked to have the electricity turn off at 9:45pm. No explanation from any staff and it was off all night...no air conditioning, etc. I found out from a coffee shop that the entire east side of Salida was without power. It would have been helpful to have a staff person let us know? We couldnt take a shower or clean up in the darkness....very uncomfortable temperature all night!! No sleep and won't stay here again!

Rougher than reviews stated!
My wife and I did not have the best stay. Our room was incredibly hot and the air conditioner wouldn’t run for more than 5-10 minutes before shutting off. There were hairs and stains on the bed covering that ruined our initial impression of cleanliness. Including a few hairs in the refrigerator, which was super gross. The shower was always out of hot water, and would often not get warmer than room temperature until the end of your shower. There was just a lot of wear and tear on the room and things definitely looked like they desperately needed a little updating. For example: Our hinged door lock was practically falling off of the door frame, and there were multiple leftover holes from previous mounting spots. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience. For the price, you’re better off staying elsewhere.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good...with EXCELLENT coffee. Hot tub area was convenient and cute. We visited on a recent fishing trip with our granddaughter and all had a wonderful time!
