This is an expensive hotel and supposedly one of the best in BsAs. in my first room the carpet had stains and it had not been painted in years. The furniture was scuffed. I requested a king size bed but it was two single beds pushed together. Both mattresses were lumpy and flat and there was a hard ridge where they had been pushed together. Even though I was exhausted from nearly a full day of travel the bed was so bad I couldn't sleep. Finally at 0330 I gave up and went to the front desk. I was met by two extremely professional and nice staff who got me a new room. One of the gentleman went to my room to inspect it and he said it should never been given to a guest and that it needed to be completely redone. The new room was ok. The breakfast was good but very expensive and it was the same every day. If you wanted something different you could order off the menu but you were charged extra! Nothing like being nickel and dimed when you are already paying top dollar and extra for the breakfast.Unbelievably I was not comped for the first night. BsAs has much better and more contemporary hotels.

Beautiful lobby, bar and rooftop. However, our room was very worn. The down comforter was stained and smelled like a wet dog. We were only staying one night, otherwise we would have changed rooms or hotel.

Pataltial elegance, exquisite furnishings, and incredible staff. Security hushed but present and reassuring. Columns of marble and burlwood trims gave old world charm with modern conveniences...truly breathtaking visually. Room ample and plush, bedding truly luxurious (I tracked down the vendor to buy personal set). Staff wonderfully helpful and kind. Amazing pool with stainless steel bottom, Roof top restaurants, and excellent gym facility. Basement formal dining room with memorable cuisine and service. Well done!

The only problem we had was the tv could only work with streaming. My streaming company is not compatible. A tech from the hotel came fixed it where we could see local programs.The next day we couldn’t access it called the front desk no one came. Since we did a lot of sightseeing it was a minor problem.
