DON'T DO IT, AWFUL!
What a dump. The broken floor in the kitchen snagged, then tore my sock. None of the pans could be used they were so scratched and burned. The ceilings are peeling, as was the wallpaper. There are bugs in the bedrooms, where the walls don’t meet the floors! There are scurrying something’s in the walls and closets upstairs. I have pictures of everything you van find me on Facebook, I’m posting them there. We checked in Monday, the 23rd, at night and checked out Tuesday morning. The hot water was unsteady, fluctuating between cold and boiling. The shower door doesn’t stay closed so it keeps sliding open about 6” repeatedly. There were vertical blinds in the bedrooms but with missing panels, broken panels and no curtains. With the lighting outside, it was too bright to sleep. The basement, where the laundry is, is a death trap. The broken floor at the base of the stairs is a hazard. The 2 sofas in the living room are both broken, one the seating bottom is all busted up and the other one has a back that is bent forward so you can’t sit comfortably on either one, the two chairs are child size. There are holes in the floor and the floor in the kitchen is cracked and broken. The nicest furniture was the dining room table but you can’t cook in there. We knew it was a risk to check out but we couldn’t stay there. The owner waited 2 weeks to tell me he wasn’t going to give me a refund. I called VRBO Tuesday morning to discuss it, they were basically useless.
