Not the worst but not the best....
Asked for a room on the top floor weeks in advance and although I know it's not a given, all the lady on the front desk could say was that they were fully booked???? (she was Miss Personality for sure) and as I thought there was a herd of elephants wearing hob nailed boots in the room above. Why can't they build a hotel with good soundproofing???? surely in 2024 they should've come up with an answer? The bed seemed small for a Queen, the fridge was loud which seems to be a given. The crockery and glasses had been washed in a slapdash manner. The water was scalding hot which I kinda liked but not sure it would've been good to a small child. The room was clean, it was lacking in towels, two very small and thin bath towels and one hand towel. Free coffee in the lobby, the bold blend was indeed bold.... The Red Roof Inn behind the hotel appears to be budget housing or migrant housing. There was a bunch of kids playing soccer on the car park and the ball managed to hit a few cars in the preferred parking spots back there. All in all not the worst place I've stayed in and thankful that I didn't get a room with a connecting door!
