Before I begin, let me say that if you are never going to be comfortable with possibly having up to 7 roommates, then nothing I say here will make you feel better.
I had low expectations going in. It was a hostel and the price was low, so I figured my review would say "You get what you pay for", well this was an amazing facility. It was cleaner than many "real" hotels I stayed at. It's located in the theater district and there are plenty of things to do nearby. There is no parking, but there is ample street parking. Bring a lock with you, as there are lockers to lock your valuables away, but you need to supply your own lock. They have two large common areas, where you are welcome to come and go along with hundreds of books and VHS tapes for you to use. There are some DVD's too, but if you ever wondered what happened to all those VHS tapes you got rid of, they ended up here.
The beds are all twin size. I think they're all bunk beds, but I can only speak to my room.
The staff were polite and helpful. The only sorta issue I had was there was never any staff at the desk, but they did have a phone to call someone if you needed any assistance.
