This property was fantastic and staff very very friendly. The only recommendation we would have to give is to have access to some cold water and maybe some snack items. We would love to stay here again.

Evans Holly Grove is just gorgeous! We stayed there while attending the TriState Rodeo in Fort Madison. The owners are knowledgeable about the history of Burlington and their beautiful historic home. The front porch was a great place to have morning coffee, which is ready for you downstairs. We stayed in the business suite, which had a very comfortable king bed and was decorated nicely with not too much "trinkets" sitting around, leaving you plenty of room to place your things. The home is quiet and so was the room. We would definitely stay there again.

Great visit to a very historic section in Burlington, Iowa. Stayed here while visiting family across the river (Mississippi) in Illinois. Loved this house and its history/furnishings collected by the Owners. Good dining options within easy walking distance.

Beautiful historic home with AC and comfy bed. Room was traditional in decor so fitting to the ornate building. Suite was compact but had great storage including a large closet plus chests. Walkable to the great Mississippi River and restaurants. Host was kind and easy to contact. Notes: itā€™s hard to dust all that decor, the only outdoor space is a large front porch, and hot breakfast was simple though hearty.

Stayed here while racing bicycles in the area. Third year in a row now. The house is beautiful and beatifully decorated. Full of antiques. The breakfasts are delicious. Easy walking distance to all of downtown Burlington.
