Perfect! Just like the first time we stayed.
We enjoyed a second stay at the two homes on Cockelburr Cove and, once again, all was perfection. Myra, the host, makes the entire process from initial contact through the close of our stay delightful and enjoyable The caretakers give close attention to detail in all they do and the homes are beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and immaculate. We hope to stay again !

Amazing Waterfront Home with a Boat Dock
A slice of heaven. Amazing sunsets with a gorgeous view of the lake. This home had more amenities than we imagined, they thought of everything. The ability to dock, your boat mid day to have lunch, then return back to the lake was super convenient. Cannot imagine a better location. We would rate this six stars if we could. All fresh linens, a great grill, and all the utensils you would need. Will definitely be booking here again.

We had such a great weekend on the lake. We had friends stay at the neighboring home and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We loved having the dock and the warm lake just steps outside. We had plenty of room for our family.

Simply perfect
We rented both homes and it accommodated us, my brothers and their families. We were looking forward to enjoying Inks lake. The lawn was beautifully manicured, the boat slip is well maintained and the homes are thoughtfully stocked throughout. Thank you for sharing your homes, they are very beautiful!

Best VRBO ever
As a family we’ve rented and visited about a dozen other vacation homes and this one was the best of them all. The house was clean and comfortable, and the lake was beautiful. The property has a lot of land (that our dog got to run around on) where we played frisbee and took bluebonnet pictures! In the front of the house there’s a big rock that we climbed the first day. We also had access to two kayaks and were able to explore the lake a little. The screened-in porch and the deck were neat and practical, and the lawn chairs were useful. We even had a chance to play tennis while we were there. The host was very responsive and always answered her phone on the first ring. We’ll definitely be returning to the Cove!

Perfection on the Lake!
What an absolute dream getaway at Cockleburr Cove! We had an amazing stay at the Cove House. We've stayed multiple times, sometimes with a larger group reserving this home along with the Sunday House next door, and other times with only one home. Either way, this is an exceptional property to experience any time of the year. We enjoyed the panoramic views from the house, but spent most of our time outside - playing on the beautiful lawn, lounging in the nice chairs to enjoy the view, and jumping off the dock for a swim in Inks Lake. And there are kayaks!! The inside of the home is wonderful, too. It has the charm of a lake house but with nicely updated furnishings and artistic style, with plenty of beds for a big family. The kitchen is big and well appointed, too! The screened in porch is icing on the cake, as is the deck with table and grill. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Lake Side Excellence
We have stayed in all of the houses on the Cockleburr Cove property yearly for the last 12 years. This is one of our family’s favorite spots in the world. Sitting on the grassy lawn looking at the lake is so peaceful. The lawn chairs for the Cove House are under mature oak trees or can be moved into the sun. There is tons of shoreline and a covered dock for a boat if you have one. They also provide 2 kayaks for each house to use while they are there. After a fun day on the lake, we enjoyed dinner on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. The house is very comfortable with a big, fully stocked kitchen and outdoor gas grill. We hope to be back soon!
