Lakeside Getaway
Excellent location and property for a fun family lake vacation! Kids ages 3-10 had a blast with canoe, kayaks, paddle boats, swimming beach next door, ping pong table, and foosball table. Home was very comfortable and well stocked with kitchen accessories and bathroom items. Had a great time hiking at nearby Bushkill Falls and the Pocono Environmental Education Center. Hosts (Jose and Jennifer) were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. Thank you for a great lake side vacation! Would definitely recommend this property.

Outstanding Location and access to the lake!
To keep things quick-- The check-in was a breeze. The house was well kept and clean upon arrival. The access to the private beachfront/lake and firepit absolutely spoiled us. It's gonna be hard to stay anywhere else. The layout of the house is fantastic for a large group to enjoy. All said, 12 family members had a weekend that we'll look back on for the rest of our lives, which is priceless for us.

Wonderful and so many things to do!
Communication with Jose was quick and easy. So responsive! Instructions are clear and the digital guest guide is really helpful. The house is as nice as presented in photos, and super well-stocked - extra of everything! Comfortable seating areas, fun game/play area, hot tub was great. Dock and canoe/kayak/pedal boat are great. Sandy beach is right next door (remember your tags). There’s also a grassy path with a cute little bridge around part of the lake. The lake itself is really pretty and chill but def overfished (talked to a local of 50 years who confirmed that.. caught lots of sunnies, though!). Pool at Rec center was really big and had a lot of seating. Rest of rec center was a little disappointing (tags don't get you in to the fitness room - needed to call public safety) and the fishing pond is not that - sadly there were no fishing signs. But the rest of the rec center was great and only a six minute drive from the house. Our whole family had a great time - even when it rained! Sad to leave this beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place/this host.

Family vacation
The property is in a great location for families, close to the beach and the playground. We spent a lot of time on the water. Boats could have been cleaned and we had some issue with the hot tub. However, Jose and his crew were extremely diligent in coming out, which was very kind. The home is lovely with obvious renovations, there are some areas of the home that need finished. Overall it’s a lovely place with very kind and responsive hosts. The deck is great for watching wildlife. Would recommend!

Great Lake House
The house was great, lots to do and very comfortable. The downstairs room was a lot of fun and so was going out on the lake. The house could use doormats to keep the floors clean. Also, just wanted to mention that the walk down to the lake is a little steep but there was a rope to hold onto which was nice. Overall, my family and I had a lot of fun with all the amenities at the house and being on the lake.

Property is great, everything you need and styled very nicely. The backyard is a blast, we were there in the winter/snow and kids could sled or walk next door to the communal playground. Jose was super responsive and easy to work with. It’s the perfect size for two small families.

Lake adventure
Met with the grandparents at the lake house in the woods during the fall season. Enjoyed the fire pit while the kids canoed and paddle-boated. Sipped hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. The guys flew their drones over the lake and got stunning photos of the fall foliage! The house supplied everything we needed to make home cooked meals. The mama deer and her babies visited us every night at the same time. The kids waited patiently for their arrival! Cozy indoor fireplace available. The ping pong table in the basement was the highlight, as we traversed down the stairs 2 at a time for a friendly competition…..which grandmom holds the title for once again:-)

Great Fall Weekend
We just had a great weekend getaway to the poconos. Owner was very helpful and communicative. House was clean! Our family went fishing, kayaking, had a fire pit and played tons of games. It was terrific to be able to unwind and disconnect.

Perfect location
A beautiful lake house with plenty of amenities. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor activities due to the weather but there is plenty to do. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessities. The bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. There were some minor hiccups but nothing that significantly impacted the stay. The family room couch could do with some new throw pillows and the lower level game room could use some welcoming decor. The owner Jose is open to feedback which is great. I would stay again or recommend to a friend.

Beautifully decorated home right on the lake!
Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at this vacation rental! The location was perfect, with the lake in the backyard and sandy beach just a short walk away (through their backyard) and a playground area nearby for the kids to enjoy. We loved being able to spend our days on the sand and in the water, and then come back to the rental to relax and unwind. And the kids loved having the playground area nearby, which gave them a chance to burn off some energy and make new friends. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The beds were very comfortable, and I'm picky, and we all got a great night's sleep. And the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and snacks throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this vacation rental and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay on the lake and by the beach. Amazing winter lake house NYE experience
The property was a beautiful home with a direct lake view. We had a great time with another family celebrating NYE there. We skied at Shawnee Mountain and visited Aquatopia at Camelback. There's plenty of space in the house to cook, lounge and enjoy. The beds are very comfortable. The host was extremely communicative and responsive. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Lakside House
The house was great, well maintained with easy access to the yard and lake. Linen, towels, soaps and shampoos were available in all rooms. Kitchen had all utensils, baking pans, plates, coffee grinder, keurig and a smores kit! Living room was spacious and included games galore - cards, chess, backgammon and a poker set. There were also toys for the little ones and a video game console. We didn't get to use the outaide fire pit but there were logs and an axe, if you wanted to have that true Paul Bunyan experience.

Perfect house for a family
The house was clean and Jose was great at open communication. The house is located next to the beach area on the lake which was a very quick walk. The pool access was a drive but a perfect addition to the rental weekend.

The house was the perfect lakehouse. The proximity to the lake and swimming area made the teens very happy. The owners provide everything you could possibly need!

Great family retreat
Our family enjoyed the lakefront property fully. Kayak and peddle boating, ping pong in the lower level, s'mores around the fire pit in the evening, coffee on the deck looking out to the lake. Beds are comfortable with soft linens. Fully stocked kitchen and bath amenities. Cannot wait to go back!

Super clean, comfortable and relaxing
The listing accurately reflects this very comfortable and well equipped lakeside retreat. Beds are very comfortable and linens are luxurious. Unlike many accommodations this one is decorated and furnished with up to date furniture and kitchenware making for a very homey stay. Access is via a set of steps that might be a bit difficult for those with mobility limitations…. Similar caution getting down the slope to the fire pit and dock. Bedrooms and bathrooms on two levels make for easy separation for kids or couples. We have already booked a return!

Thoughtful Host
Jose and his team were very thoughtful and easy to work with. They did an incredible job of making us feel welcome and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. You will enjoy the daily emails with recommendations from Jose and he is very prompt in response if you have questions. The house is nice and the lake is private and quiet. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Loved it!
My family and I had a great time at Olibear! Great location and view. Very comfortable home. Excellent surprise that there were toys and books in the closet for our 3yo daughter when we were Raines in.
