Relax with the whole family in this peaceful private cabin 198 acres of private land for hiking and enjoying nature. Close to hocking hills. 40 acres can be used for gun hunting. 150 acres of private land can be used for bow hunting. $200 will be charged for each group for each day that you actually hunt.. Close to Wayne national forest for additional hunting.

Great for solitude
It was so nice to be off the beaten path! We loved the solitude and ability to walk out the back door and go hiking with the pups. We also enjoyed the fact they had a shooting range set up that we were able to enjoy. A very relaxing trip. Just what we needed.

We absolutely loved this little cabin. It was just what we were looking for, a little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was cozy, and had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in a little earlier when we thought the weather was not going to cooperate with our plans. It was clean, had a huge selection of movies to pick from, CD player for some music, it was just great.

Gorgeous time
From the moment we entered the cabin, we immediately knew that we made the right choice. The cabin was very clean. Also the property it self is very interesting (almost 200 care). There is even a beautiful waterfall. The owner, David, gave me a tour to his oil pump and explained the ins and outs. That was very nice. I definitely would come back.

Perfect place to get away
We cannot recommend this place enough. They take really good care of this property and it’s the little details that make it worth it. Dog friendly, great shower, garden, and prepared firewood made our stay a dream land of memories. It’s out of the way with no internet access. There are dvds, cds, satellite tv, old school vhs tapes, and records. A quiet place with a great view of the stars. We would like to go back.

We had a great time. No cell service or internet which made it that much better. They have a target range set up just outside the cabin, which was fun. We used their gas grill for dinner which was convenient. They had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as fresh veggies and treats for the humans and pets. They had a large selection of CDs and records which the college kids enjoyed playing. We did day trips from here to Hocking Hills. Definitely would stay again.

Cozy with a great view
This cabin felt so homey. The private and secluded setting was exactly what we were looking for. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of leaving fruits and veggies from their garden and drawing a map of a nice hike on the property. Asking us about our music and movie preferences before arrival and the records that were left were such a wonderful touch. We would definitely stay again.

Absolute hidden gem!!
I booked this place because I wanted to get away with husband and dogs for my birthday. This place did not disappoint! Cell service was almost non existent which we needed. Secluded enough to not hear much of anything but nature, and still only about 15 minutes away civilization. Lol. This cabin was so comfy. Rustic feel inside with all amenities you need. Huge kitchen and dining area, modern bathroom and shower. Big clean bedrooms and cozy furniture. Huge dvd library to watch stuff when you're staying inside. Screened in back porch was great. Outdoor table, fire pit and grills in the backyard. Even targets set up down the way from the back porch for safe target shooting. The dogs loved this place! Free dog treats for them when we got there(free candy for us), water bowl, and tie out available. We took the dogs for a walk a few minutes down the road and took a trail that led to a little stream and cave. We drove all around the county and found some great nature spots. We can't wait to come stay here again in the fall/ winter. Sorry for the long review, I just can't say enough good things about this place!!
