The pool had way too much chlorine in it, it burned the eyes and the hot tub was very foamy. The staff were very rude when we had a room mix up they wouldn’t give us what we wanted so I requested the family suite for the next day and he said if your looking just for 2 queen beds we can get you that and than selling the family suite to someone staying longer I told him no our first room was horrible and not what we asked for so I would like the family suite for tomorrow it doesn’t matter the pay increase.

Beds were comfy, pool and hot tub are small but nice. The a/c in the gym room was blowing warm air so I had to cut my workout short cause it was just way too hot. The breakfast was pretty basic - egg patties, hashbrowns and sausages. Good for a short stay but maintenance and upkeep of the hotel could be better.

My grand daughters and i were exhausted and hot from exploring the Calgary zoo and early for check in time, but the desk clerk was able to check us in! The pool was exactly what we all needed after a long day.

Stay was fine - upgraded to a suite - the comfort control for room temps seemed not to make our adjustments so rooms were cold overnight - but bed covers were warm.Breakfast adequate but not great. All around okay - but only a 4 star visit.

Overall a good stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed on the property. It’s a good bang for your buck: rooms have AC, bedding is clean and rooms are a good size. Only cons are the complimentary breakfast needs some work - we didn’t even bother to go 2/3 mornings we were there. The room also had a weird smell but that could possibly be attributed to the fact that the building just seems old. Nonetheless if I was in Calgary again I’d consider staying again.

Check in was difficult. They tried to upcharge the total cost quotes by Expedia. Beds was rock hard. Breakfast was limited in options and dining area was not cleaned regularly. The hotel only had one staff member trying to keep up with food set up/replenishing and cleaning. The pool was small but adequate. Easy access to main roads and a few food options in a walkable distance. Overall I would not go back.

Bugs on floor area, extremely dirty around the whole hotel. Never vacuumed once in four days we were there. The breakfast area was so dirty. Saw staff mishandling the utensils. Our door slammed shut. So did everyone’s else’s. Don’t recommend.

The pictures look nice and aren’t necessarily inaccurate, but it’s a bit more dated and less clean than it appears. The pool itself was a bit unsettling with grime built up along the walls. The water didn’t feel like a clean pool water, we spent very little time swimming as the adults just wanted to get out and shower. The room was decent and fairly clean. Not a terrible value but we chose a different option for our next trip. Staff was friendly enough and the breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was really wonderful and the pancake machine was a hit.
