The hall and grounds were really pretty and the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, and had everything we needed, but was small and very tired - in much need of a refurbishment. Having said this, I would stay again.

The building itself is impressive and the grounds lovely. Walking distance to a nice pub with grat food. The room was simple but clean, with everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely return.

Staying at Madingly Hall was a real treat. The building and grounds are spectacular and the staff was so kind and courteous. It is a short drive to Cambridge and a wonderfully quiet place to come home to after the hubbub of the city.

Madingley is more of an education establishment than a hotel and whilst the main building is beautiful , the accommodation at the back is clean, but tired. The conference delegates are noisy in the corridor and walls were paper thin. The food inthe cafe was excellent and the gardens are superb. Great place to draw, or paint.

Beautiful location and grounds, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and what I needed for an overnight work stay. Breakfast was a great selection and in a beautiful room. Will stay here for work trips again.

It’s clearly student digs, beware it’s not a ‘hotel’. No mention of the bar serves till 8pm only and the menu is very limited! However! It’s a fabulous building and very quiet!

This property has stunning surroundings within a historical setting. Check in was smooth and I was help with my bags and guided to my room. The rooms are basic but have everything needed for an overnight stay. Having breakfast included in the price was great too.
