About this property

Private tent camping SITE#1 along the Salmon River on 165-acre Farm

Camp fire, stars, fresh air and the sound of the Salmon River running in the background. We have a beautiful farm in beautiful Osceola NY that we would like to share with our tent campers as we have plenty of open space for people to enjoy. The Salmon River runs directly through the farmland and we own both sides of it. At this point the sites are primitive. There will be a spot for your tent(s) and a fire pit. We're hoping to add picnic table to each site here very soon. FireWood will be for sale onsite. Lots of beautiful things to see on and by the farm. Fall brook falls, Salmon River Falls, the hayloft, World Famous Osceola Hotel and Salmon River Reservoir. Boydt Castle and Thousand Islands are just 50 minutes away! Come check us out. Sites will be spread out along the property for privacy. If you have more than 6 people in your group please rent two spots so we don't over crowd the area and destroy the natural beauty. 6 Person Max per site.

My partner and I needed a place to camp for the total eclipse and came across Ryan's listing. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. He's such a nice, accommodating host. Taking the time to show us the property and delivering firewood to our site. The land is gorgeous! Great stargazing and sunsets. We chose a spot next to the river to pitch our tent, and we were able to pull our car right up to the site and have easy access to all our gear. The privacy of primitive camping with the convenience of a campground. Would definitely come back in the warmer months to take a dip in the river.
