The sheets were terrible polyester - uncomfortable and washed with a really gross scent. The rest of the hotel was quite clean. Noise definitely carries from the upstairs. The kitchen was convenient and well stocked with everything you need to cook. The communication with the management could definitely be improved. They insist on a very small window to check in and that should be upfront when booking the room. The area immediately outside the hotel complex is sketchy. Nice view and you are right on the river.

The suite we stayed in was very well presented and equipped with all that we would need for our stay. One downside was I did not realize that the queen bed in the bedroom was not a walk around bed. My husband has disabilities and found it hard to get in and out of due to no bedside table he uses to assist getting up. Luckily I am more fit and agile as I had to crawl over the end of the bed to get in and out. I would choose a different bedroom set up if I stayed again.

What an unbelievable spot in Campbell River. Literally on top of the River. The suite was massive and very well kept. The in suite sauna was epic. The manager was excellent. Property was very comfortable and well-appointed. Staff or management very helpful, excellent communication and accommodating (since we arrived relatively late). View from the living room was spectacular - across the Campbell River and its wildlife. Only minor complaint was the gel mattress cover and gel pillows - for us, rather soft and rather too warm - others might find them comfortable. Everything else was great.

Apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we required for our two night stay. Sunny who manages the property is exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. As other reviews have noted the ground floor rooms do hear every sound from the rooms above. One other thing to note is that despite the write up saying the property has a sauna, this is not exactly the case. Apparently it is some individual rooms that have a sauna but some don’t; this is not highlighted or given as an option at booking. It seems it is the luck of the draw whether you get one or not. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property but would suggest you email and request an upper floor room and sauna.
