lovely, unique and very comfortable space
A lovely and unique space to spend some quiet time, engage in wellness activities, or enjoy Venao without the having to stay there. The domes are well appointed and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The bar has nice cocktails and the food in the restaurant is very good although both are on the pricy side. I had an absolutely amazing massage by one of the founders (a Swiss man named Saul although Iā€™m not sure I spelled his name correctly) which incorporated some energy work. We were there on a very rainy and stormy holiday weekend, but just being in the room was pleasant. Iā€™ll go back.

Our stay in Alaya was the perfect getaway from our good Canadian winters. The dome was a beautiful experience and made for a very romantic stay when relaxing under the stars on the suspended net before jumping in our private hot tub. The space was incredibly clean and the staff was always ready to help. The restaurant had a farm to table concept (they have their own permaculture farm on the land) and was beyond our expectations, not to mention the breathtaking view of the valleys and the ocean while you enjoy your meal. Their designated work space allowed us to log in comfortably and reliably connect the few times that we needed to. If your are looking to connect with yourself, your partner or even alongside other humans we highly recommend inquiring about Alayaā€™s spiritual services as well. A very special treat in a very special part of the country.

We went as a couple to spend our anniversary at Alaya, and it was an awesome stay. We enjoyed every minute of it. The domes were very clean, comfortable, (not even 1 ant inside it really hard to accomplish in Panama). The facilities, restaurant and ammenities were top. Definetely will be back.

Incredible location, design of room and stay. I really enjoyed it. My only comment is that, of course, there were many bugs biting us (as it was rainy season). Therefore, we could not really enjoy the pool. So it's just a note that either you need to have a plan or you won't stay long outside! Be prepared.

Merveilleuse situation,le site est parfait pour un sĆ©jour plein de sĆ©rĆ©nitĆ©. Jā€™ai eu la chance de pouvoir obtenir un trĆØs agrĆ©able massage Ć  la derniĆØre minute. La cuisine du chef est originale,de saison,la qualitĆ© des produits locaux est exceptionnelle. Les cocktails maisons sont un rĆ©gal. Le personnel est au petit soin avec les clients,ce qui offre une dĆ©tente absolue durant le sĆ©jour. Enfin,les chambres/dĆ“mes sont exceptionnels,leur situation,surplombant la nature verdoyante est incroyable. La cerise sur le gĆ¢teau, mon champagne prĆ©fĆ©rĆ© mā€™attendait au frigo. Je recommande absolument lā€™expĆ©rience Alaya et nā€™ai quā€™un seul regret,ne pas y ĆŖtre restĆ© plus longtemps. Je reviendrai Ć  coup sĆ»r Ć  Alaya!

Nous avons passez une nuit Ć  Alaya, en couple, lors de notre voyage au Panama, quelle belle surprise! Cā€™est simplement impossible de dĆ©crire la beautĆ© du lieu en seulement quelques mots, je dirai simplement que cā€™est un oasis de paix en pleine nature et en tout confort. Nous avons tellement bien dormis que nous serions volontiers restĆ©s plus longtemps si notre organisation nous le permettait. Nous sommes restĆ© dans une des chambres de luxe, super confortable, le niveau dā€™attention au dĆ©tail nous a surpris surtout pour un hĆ“tel en pleine savane. Le restaurant est absolument magnifique, jā€™ai pris les pĆ¢tes faites maison et ma compagne le filet de bœuf, absolument succulent. Nous aurions voulu dĆ®ner dans la cave Ć  vin mais elle Ć©tait dĆ©jĆ  occupĆ©e, belle sĆ©lection de vin. La classe de yoga avec la co -fondatrice du projet Ć©tait simplement gĆ©niale, encore plus pour quelquā€™un super dĆ©butant, ma compagne a profitĆ© dā€™un massage lors de son arrivĆ©e et a adorĆ©. Le petit dĆ©jeuner Ć©tait trĆØs gĆ©nĆ©reux, nous avons ensuite fait un tour du projet de permaculture intĆ©grĆ© Ć  lā€™hĆ“tel, belle expĆ©rience. On a pu ressentir lā€™ambiance Ā«Ā familialeĀ Ā» et on sā€™est senti comme Ć  la maison. ƀ recommander Ć  tous les amoureux de la nature, du calmeĀ etĀ duĀ confort!

El lugar es lindo. Sin embargo la limpieza y el personal es pĆ©simo, es la primera vez que en un hotel veo cucarachas sĆŗper grandes al llegar y luego cuando se le da la informaciĆ³n al Gerente del Hotel nos dijeron que ā€œYo creo que ustedes trajeron las cucarachas en sus maletas desde MĆ©xicoā€ cabe aclarar mi amiga me vino a visitar desde MĆ©xico y yo vivo en PanamĆ”. SegĆŗn Ɖl seƱor simplemente estaba bromeando.. Ninguno de nosotros entendimos la broma.
