Information for restaurant reservation is not given to you at check in was is terrible and makes the experience difficult. Some people are great with a drink and others aren’t. Beds are hard, rooms needs maintenance. Shower tub seemed to be falling apart, towel racks needed to be tightened. TV continuously kept shutting off. We called for help with no resolution. We told the front desk and no resolution. Found a huge cockroach in our room in day 4. Staff isn’t very friendly and gives attitudes. Found a few great waiters and stuck with them. Asked for more pillows and covers and received them. Food was good. Los gallos restaurant was very delicious.

We were not happy with this property. While checking in, the front desk was not friendly or welcoming and seemed bothered by questions. They only wanted to make sure you understood if you lost the room card, towel cards or towels, there was a $50 fee each if they needed to be replaced. When we got to our room, it smelled like an old musty basement and made all of our clothes smell. The bed was rock hard and so uncomfortable. It was very hard sleeping here. The safe was broken and didn’t work and we had to go to the front desk to ask to get a new one because it’s hard getting anyone on the phone. The bottle of champagne in the room was a nice touch but unfortunately there were no glasses to drink it. We asked for glasses several times but they were never brought up. They offer room service for an extra $5 each time you call but they don’t answer the phone when calling for room service. We got through once out of the 4 times that we called and then it took over an hour to get our food. The drinks were very watered down and getting service by the pool was almost nonexistent. The food at the buffet was pretty bad, the restaurants were a little better but you had to make reservations in order to dine. The best part were employees in the restaurants and the cleaning ladies. They were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. It was disappointing and I would not stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! We were really happy with our room (with spa tub on club floor), resort was amazing with lots to do including 4 pools, direct beach access, night club, theatre, nightly shows and more. Review Incoming… We have stayed here before so we knew what we were paying for the price. 1. do not come here if your looking for somewhere quiet/ adult only - it is a FAMILY resort. With one adult section 2. the service was over all mid tier - however a few shoutouts go to the pool bar guy havier- and 3 people from the 8th floor lounge Carlos, Jerry and maria - they were all so lovely and welcoming. 3. the food is below mid. The american breakfast on the 8th floor lounge is the best breakfast- the lunch options are slim because the burgers taste horrible and the fries are soggy - you can order room service but it will take over an hour to get it - buffet food wasn’t very good either - i’m not even a picky eater and i can always find something to eat. the restaurants are a bit better - we like Wayne’s Boots and the italian and mexican place was alright. but if your looking for good food then skip 4. the pools were freezing . Our entire week there we had one day with a hotub and it was only one of them so you had 30 adults crammed into one spot - took a bunch of people complaint for them to actually do something about it 5. there’s nothing going on. the activities are next to none Nor even a bubble party or a foam party. there’s no energy and it’s boring 6. Watch your drinks at the On site disco - my boyfriend got roofied and has been sick for 2 days now. No security at the disco or anything- we’re just glad he’s okay. 7. We stayed at the property in Jan and the hot tubs were not working except for one of the days out of 5. When staff was informed they stated they had other things to worry about. My safe battery was low and o was unable to use the safe and it was never fixed. The bartenders and servers were very friendly. There is a lot of maintenance that is needed around the property. Including the elevators. The restaurants had great service. I would definitely look for a different resort to stay at on my next visit to Cancun
