Staff is amazing, the property is maintained impeccable, such a selection of food you never grow tired of. The only criticism I can make is the sports bar is in dire need of a makeover, it’s dark, dingy, with 4 massive pillars that impede your view of the only wide screen TV

Overall the resort is fantastic! The staff are friendly. We really liked the room. The pools are great too (especially the lazy river). The food is what you would expect from an all-inclusive resort, decent but not amazing. Out of all of the restaurants Lobster House was probably our fanorite. There is a lot of entertainment and a lot to do at the resort. Angelo with the entertainment team always kept it fun. Martini bar always had the best drinks in our opinion. All in all a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this resort.

Resort was beautiful. There were several short power outages and the Kitchen restaurant was closed for repairs one day, but the staff was quick to setup an alternate location on short notice that was very good.

Last time I visited this resort was 2008 with my father. Have been to other excellence resorts - Finest which is more Family oriented. Overall My GF and I enjoyed our stay. We had some issues in the beginning but the leadership team/managers will try their best to accommodate you ! I could also tell the leadership team cares about their employees. I will definitely go back.

Be prepared to spend most of your time waiting for food/drinks. Excellence club is not worth the upgrade. There are a bunch of "secret perks" you have to be "in the know" to ask for so we just didn't end up getting them. The free hydrotherapy is powerful jets not a jacuzzi water massage as described. Tips are NOT included, you must give a min $5 USD for every interaction or they'll take even longer to serve you. They were very annoyed at check out since we didn't buy an extra excursion or spa service. Not vegetarian friendly, food often came out undercooked and bland despite having a "special menu". Drinks were watered down which is probably why they all tasted the same. The sports bar closes at midnight and you're not allowed to be around the pool after that. They insist on coming all the way in for room service, love outside shoes all over. Swim up room reeked of mold which traveled home on our clothes and passports. The glass bathroom/shower doors didn't actually shut which is an odd choice at all you can eat where they went so far as to have a phone installed at the toilet... Overall could have been worse beach trip but certainly not worth the price.

Luis at The French restaurant did outstanding service. Orlando at the pool bar did a great jon with our drinks!
