Some of the staff was very rude! They do not take discover card! Our room flooded during the hurricane and we had to make a trip down stairs to notify staff. There was no compensation for food or shelter while the storm s was going on and we were trapped in pur rooms. The buffet was open but inconvenient for those who were not housed in the main building!

To be frank, the resort has “luxury” in the name and it is FAR from it. There were roaches, the room was disgusting and poorly decorated. You have to make reservations 24 hours prior for the restaurants but if you just come in to the resort, you’re screwed. The food besides the actually restaurants were actually inedible. The whole experience was a bit muggy and I would never stay there again.

The staff, service and food was really great here! The waiters at each restaurant were very attentive and the maid service was also very good and cleaned the rooms and made the bed every single day. Our butler Jessica was amazing and helped make our reservations for dinner every night and reserve a cabana. I would stay here again!

The staff was great. Once you get there you're always trying to sell you a timeshare. But that's in every hotel in Cancun. The room was okay we got Ocean View it was very clean. But the AC wasn't working, my friend had to upgrade her room and paid extra $200 to get another room but I seen was still not working perfectly. Food is okay but not great. Buffet food is mostly American food when we go to Mexico we want to eat Mexican food not American food like hash browns and pancakes we want tamales right?

I’ve been to this place atleast 6 times and I love it!! The new taco bar was amazing, plus the new VIP check in when you book the Royal Tower. Only dislike I have is that the turndown service would just pop in your room as if they were watching u leave your room, numerous times they would barely knock or we would be on the rooftop terrace and they would just enter the room. Please add door bells
