The staff is amazing. They are positive, helpful and professional. Part of the property is under construction but you luckily don’t hear the work being done. The property is not on the beach, but the views are lovely.

This place is horrible. They don’t have dinner buffets - if you don’t wake up early and make reservations, good luck eating anything at night. They don’t have rooms with double beds, by far the worst hotel in Cancun.

This place should be called HYATT not so VIVID. The service was terrible, everyone is annoyed and bother to assist with the slightest request like water or refills. No dinner buffet, no double bed rooms, you will basically have to beg to get any kind of service. To make reservations they send you to the Hyatt app, then when that fails it’s says call room service, then they send you back to the app, then they say you must come up front. By far the worst experience ever in Cancun. DO NOT COME TO HYATT VIVID - you have been warned! By far the worst resort

Not a terrible resort but many things lacking. Staff is sub par. Only one smoking area out in the parking lot. Meal portions at every restaurant is very small. Used coffee in our room first morning and was never replaced. Overall for the price I wouldn’t go there again. The traffic noice at night is awful

Had an excellent 5-night stay at the stunning Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Located just a short 15-minute ride from the Cancun Airport, and nestled on a beautiful lagoon- it was the perfect location. The staff was the best part of our stay. EVERY single staff member was happy and helpful and truly went out of their way to ensure you were having a great stay. Some noteworthy staff include Eduardo, Pablo and Jose from the beach club, Angel, Marta, Roman, and Jesus from the hotel bar/pool staff, and Ana and Beatrice from the spa. The second area of excellence was the food and drinks. The food and drinks were truly top-notch for an all-inclusive. The portions, quality, freshness, and overall presentation/inconsistency from the various food venues was fabulous. The hotel itself was beautiful, modern, and easily accessible. It was easy to move around, find open spaces for lounging, and plenty of activities to keep you busy. Finally, the hotel's beach club enhanced the entire stay and vacation. The beach club was INCREDIBLE. After requesting a ride to the club, the wait was never more than a few minutes to shuttle over. The shuttle was fun with lively music and excellent and professional drivers. Once you arrived at the beach club, you truly felt like you were whisked away to somewhere very intimate and exclusive. The views of the ocean, elegant loungers, and white sand beaches were unreal. Additionally, again, the staff elevated the beach club experience as well. Thank you Hyatt!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. It definitely exceeded our expectations. They have a shuttle service to a beach club which gives access to the beach and was convenient. However, there are a few areas which could be improved. 1. Pool water gushing and cleaning sound could be heard clearly on the 11floor. 2. There should be a shuttle service for the guests from the main security booth to the hotel lobby. The biggest positive was the staff. They were very friendly and keen to help us out.

So the hotel is located in a place that’s really bad as basically without a taxi or uber you cannot get out of the hotel. To get to the beach you need a bus. The room had a horrible smell of sewer and all they did was spray disinfectant in the AC vents to masc the smell but did not want to change my room. They try to get you to go on a tour to try to sell you some packages in general would not recommend this property or go back to it

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. We have stayed at several Hyatts and have been extremely let down by this one. The beach club was probably the only positive thing we experienced at this resort. Despite being vantage club members, we didn't get welcome drinks and waited about an hour to check in at 8 pm. We changed for dinner to be met with all the restaurants except the buffet refusing us despite it being 2 hours before closing and the restaurant half empty One night we waited for 45 minutes before we just left & ordered room service. It was also my husband's birthday and despite me speaking to at least 3 different staff members of this hotel - we didn't get the birthday set up in our room. I wanted to do the paid birthday surprise option and was told it would be taken care of. I expressed my concerns about everything to the VIP services and he said he was going to talk with the concierge and nothing was still done. Activities were mid and all over the place. Timing of these and dinner often interfered so you're having to really pick one or the other and having to feel rushed with everything. The staff is great but it felt like a retirement home trying to keep us entertained. Cute place for pics but not worth the money! We'll be booking elsewhere for sure.
