The property was beautiful. The common area and lobby was very HOT. There is no air conditioning in the open areas, well at lease it didn't feel like there was any. The food was alright, it could have been better. Simple things like ice cream and dessert were horrible and not many options.

We stayed 7 nights at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun. The beaches were beautiful, well kept and maintained. I’ve stayed at other resorts and the pool area wasn’t quite as large, but neither was the resort, and the area was more than enough for the number of guests. The staff was always friendly. We were leery of the all-inclusive buffet restaurant at first, because it wasn’t as large as other resorts such as Riu or Sandals. We found the smaller area more personal and the quality of food much better. They had your typical custom made to order options such as omelets, stir fry, Italian pasta, BBQ, steaks, etc. There was hardly ever a wait for them to cook those items in front of you. The resort amenities were everything that you could ask for and more. This was our first time staying at a Hyatt that was all-inclusive, and we were very impressed. With the resort centrally located, taxis were easily accessible with only a 2-3 minute wait at any given time. The Welcome Ambassador / Concierge ladies were top notch. Ingrid, Ana and Jocelyn were always accessible and kept us in the loop with all the daily activities that were taking place at the resort. We booked our excursions through Cancun Adventures, which has an office inside the resort. The pricing was more than fair compared to searching elsewhere outside of the resort. The sunset on the Bay side was breath taking. I’d highly recommend the resort, and we will definitely be back to this location in Cancun and exploring other Hyatts.

The hotel, service, food and specially the staff were great. The only thing that needs to be addressed is that there is not enough chairs to lay around the pool and there’s lots of cabanas but for rent only. The bartender Eliseo is amazing.

Having visited Cancun on a number of occasions, the Hyatt Zilara is hands down the best! The employees cater to your every need and always welcome you with a smile and greeting. They truly love their jobs and it shows in the hospitality. All of the food locations were great but the Spice Buffet is Vegas class. Every night there is a different theme and the food is incredible. You could eat there every day and not get tired. There is entertainment every night and if you were in Vegas, it would be expensive. Amazing performances night after night made the trip enjoyable. The rooms might be my only complaint.....but they are getting ready for a major remodel to address that issue. Problem solved! We are already planning our return trip - highly recommended!

Hyatt always delivers a great experience with their service and quality. All the hotel employees were professional and helpful. They make you feel like royalty. Even though the hotel is a little dated, the cleanliness was amazing and the aroma across the entire property was great. Some employees told us that they will be completely remodeling the entire hotel which gives us an excuse to come back soon. The spa is renovated and the massages and hydrotherapy were done beautifully. Rosy made our experience memorable with her care and kindness. The food at the buffet was always fresh with abundant options and the chefs and servers are attentive and efficient. Carlos Martinez and Rossy at Spice in particular went above and beyond. We will be back in December!!

We only stayed for 3 nights but really liked this resort. The only negative I could say is that there isn’t much to do inside if it’s raining in the morning. Would definitely stay again!
