We really enjoyed our visit. Beautiful, clean beach although the sea was a bit rough when we visited. Clean rooms, lobby's, and grounds. Great food, excellent staff. There were two things I did not like. The first one was the dinner menu change at Hana. We really enjoyed our meat cuts the first night we dined there and planned to go in for a second night only to learn that the menu had changed. The second thing I disliked was the double burger I ordered at Mo's. For some reason, the two patties in my burger were thin and pale, not tasty at all. I did give Mo's a second chance and got a cheese burger which was very good. As I'm writing this, I'm now wondering if they gave me the Mighty No (vegan) instead of the Mighty Mo. If you're looking for a great, smaller, quiet all inclusive resort this is it.

Not Impressed with Marriott Cancun While our stay at Marriott Cancun had a few positives, overall, it fell short of our expectations. Pros: • The hotel’s smaller size makes it convenient to access the beach and pools. • Our ocean-view room was a highlight — spacious and comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. Cons: • Noisy Rooms: The design resembles Embassy Suites, where room entrances face an open atrium. As a result, noise carries into the rooms late into the night, making it hard to relax. • Disappointing Food: The food was below average, with limited restaurant options and a repetitive menu. Even during Christmas, the special menu failed to impress. • Lack of Entertainment Options: The hotel offered very few entertainment activities, making the overall experience dull, especially for families or those looking for engaging experiences. • Towel Bar Issues: The towel service at the pool was the worst part of our stay. They were almost always out of towels, which was frustrating and inconvenient. This hotel has potential, but it needs better management to improve the guest experience.

I made a reservation at 8:15pm on 12/26 at the Ono restaurant but were kept waiting for a whole hour. We were seated with the next shift until 9:15pm. This happened only to us and I felt so disappointed and discriminated. My mood was ruined by this and this is the worst experience I ever had!

Everything about this property was excellent. It isn’t as loud as Hotel Ziva, which I appreciated. However, the hotel is packed with families with crying and demanding babies. My teens were traumatized. Probably won’t go back to Cancún until we can go to an adults only hotel.

Food options were not really good with the exception of the Japanese restaurants. From a food perspective for an all-inclusive, I would give it only 1-2 stars, but every Th in else was great.

I spent Christmas at the resort, and I never want to go back. After room cleaning, they didn't provide any shower towels, and it took 1.5 hours to bring them after I called three times, each 30 minutes apart. The breakfast buffet had limited options, mostly frozen food. The cocktails and alcohol were terrible, and the bartender was very unfriendly, making drinks with a look of reluctance. When I went to Ono Izakaya for dinner, the restaurant staff were rude, and I had to ask for utensils only after the food arrived. Overall, the service was terrible at every turn. Compared to my previous stay at Hyatt Ziva, this resort was deeply disappointing. I do not recommend it. The food, drinks, and service were all very disappointing.

The property is alright. It has all the bells and whistles on paper. But it falls short on most features. We were told they don’t allow 3 small kids in one room. Forced us to upgrade to a suite for a steep price. The suite was fine, but nothing much to justify the price. The shower had a slant and wouldn’t drain. And echoes a lot. If you have a screaming child, your ears will ring. The pool closes by 6 PM. Kids slides close by 5 PM. The pool and beach food service is painfully slow. Chips and guacamole take 45 mins. Most service that’s not a restaurant is abysmal. Cheap Beer and other drinks. Some are good, most are terrible. The staff is really nice and attentive. Kids club is really good. They do a pretty good job of keeping the kids entertained. Our kids asked to go there every day. Kids club closes at 7, so you are having dinner with your kiddo every day. Gym is adequate. Kids can’t go in. No shuttle from airport. Decent restaurants need reservation. Most folks book through the app and don’t show up, leading to empty seats and yet being told that you need reservation. Overall, meh. Not worth the price. Although the staff were kind and attentive, and kids club was great, we will not be going back.

the sound insulation in the room seems to be inadequate, as I can distinctly hear noises from the neighboring room. This includes conversations, flushing toilets, and other activities, making it challenging for me to have a peaceful night's sleep.
