I was there for a week, the first part of my stay in the preffered tropical view wasnā€™t great I had maintenance and cleanliness issues. the preffered areas and breakfast restaurant was awesome. I then upgraded to indigo and it was a whole different level of service and luxury. The staff were extremely friendly and genuine and treated you like family. Shout out to Julio in the blue water grill and victor and Alex on the indigo rooftop. The best service Iā€™ve ever had!

Time Share based resort. Not advertised as such. The pools, rooms and restaurants advertised were restricted to Time Share members only. Leaving non Time share people only 1 pool and limited room selection. We paid for a waterfront room and were told they were for timeshare guests only. We were not offered a refund for the cost difference. Room service didnā€™t show up on a couple of occasions. A couple cockroaches in room. Wait staff was wonderful, front desk staff not wonderful. Not worth the money at all!!

Had food poisoning and my sister in law who also came at the same time from Canada was diagnosed with salmonella . 5-6 ppl in our group who came got affected . Worried about where to eat and where to go . Not to mention doctor visits at the resort

The rooms and buildings are in dire need of repair. The sliding glass door was difficult to close and the glass had gaps that the hot air could get through to the room. The place is huge and you do ALOT of walking. The website doesn't tell you that their is not an elevator (unless you upgrade to Indigo and that elevator didn't work most of the time we were there. On the plus side the employees are awesome! Always smiling and friendly and willing to do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. Bottom line - In my opinion it's overpriced, food is adequate but not great. Would we come back - No.

5th time staying at the resort and again, opted for the Preferred Club option. The Preferred Club offers and "adults only" pool that is supposed to be quieter and relaxing from the main pool that allows children, a swim up bar and activities throughout the day. The adults only pool has become progressive worse over the years and allows for obnoxious rowdy groups to carry on like unsupervised children and this is really not fair to the other guests. The pool manager, etc allow this behavior and it really takes away from having a peaceful relaxing vacation. The food is average and there are several dining locations that are open on different nights for dinner. Based on our latest visit, 10/17- 10/24/2024, this will probably be our last time on going to this resort. It's a shame because we have gotten to know a few staff members over the years.

We enjoyed our stay at Dreams Sapphire. It was a nice, quiet resort with plenty of amenities to meet our needs. There were multiple food options, but we stuck with the World Cafe or the outdoor buffet for most of our dinners since we are not into fancy dining. We did eat at the hibachi one night, which was nice. The beach access was wonderful, as it was just steps away from the resort. The water activities provided on the beach were a nice benefit that we have not gotten at other places. It was easy to book our excursions at the resort where we were able to get a description of each excursion from an actual person and not rely on an online description. The only complaint we have would be the roads were terrible leading to the resort, but I don't think this is a resort problem, as the roads were terrible everywhere that we went on this trip. We will definitely look into this place or another Dreams Resort the next time we plan a vacation.
