Our expectations were met and then some at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa resort. The service and amenities were all top notch, and the staff were beyond friendly and professional. Every meal experience was top quality, and the options were diverse and plentiful. Pools and beach were well maintained, and our room was clean and comfortable.

This was a fun clean vacation hotel and we were here over New Years! There were lots of dining options and we were lucky that we booked through Expedia, so we had the benefit of having a concierge that booked our restaurants for us. Other people who didn't have this found it difficult to book restaurants. The pools and beach were lovely and there was lots of action happening at one of the pools all day. Lots of daily activities were for the privileged section only which I didn't love. The other thing that wasn't great was the night entertainment. I would rate that about a 6/10 to 7/10 most nights. There were a couple of good bands that they had. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were really nice, big, and clean. Great coffee shop. Beach was nice, pools were clean, and really nice. There were lots of chairs at all places, but you still had to head out quite early to get a spot everyday, likes most hotels. We were 3 families that traveled together with teenagers and we all had a great time! New years was a blast. We would return again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are not extremely modern or luxurious but everything else about this resort was amazing. The staff,the food,activities and so much more, made staying here worth it.

Very nice hotel for the price you pay. Drinks were great food was decent, especially hibachi was a great experience and really good food. Bar was fun and had excellent staff shoutout to Eduardo he was the best and made our experience even better! Had a really good fire show one night as well. Pool and beach were clean and it was overall a great experience, I would definitely visit again!

It seems as if this place has seen better days. Food was average, half of it is either not labelled, or mislabeled. They evidently prioritize cost-cutting over service, to maximize profits. The only highlights was the entertainment, which was well organized and had good variety and quality.

This was one of the best vacations i’ve ever been on, the resort was gorgeous, food was great, staff was friendly, location was gorgeous and accessible. Loved every moment.

Overall, our stay was average. Most restaurants on site required reservations for dinner, and it was nearly impossible to get reservations to these places unless you wanted to eat at 9pm. The food was nothing to rave about. Our room smelled extremely musty, even with a dehumidifier running continuously. The spa area had a bunch of mold on the ceiling and when it rained there were areas of leakage in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially to our handicapped friend that traveled with us. They kept the hotel quite clean and were great about tidying up our room every day.

It was ok… Hiwever no hot water and toilet need several flushes.. Food was average not amazing.. It was just OK but I would not stay here again…

I’ll start by saying I will definitely be back here; I can’t think of a single complaint! I want to specifically shout out activities coordinators Fernanda, Amanda, and Yael for doing everything to make sure I had a good time while I was there. I visited by myself and wasn’t sure if I would have fun alone, but I really appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I knew when and where the best activities were so that I could meet other people. They instantly treated me like a good friend, and from seeing how they interacted with me and others I could tell that they all genuinely enjoy what they do and putting a smile on people’s faces. I’ve been a manager in the hospitality/service industry, so I know how rare it is to find people with that attitude. Thanks very much for everything and can’t wait to visit again :)
