Very disappointed with this property. It’s a 3 star at best. Poor and limited food choices. Only 1 lobby bar open in the evening and the entertainment only performed for an hour. It’s not even like a resort, it’s more like a regular older hotel. Small with not a lot going on. They offer all inclusive but with limited food choices it’s not worth it. Drinks were not very good. Had to make sure they actually poured what we ordered. We will not be returning. The only positive is the beach. Large beach area with lots of loungers.

This was a decent all inclusive. The property was very pretty and the views of the beach was stunning. The staff for this property were interesting. Some of the staff were super friendly and attentive and some were super rude and mean to my boyfriend and I. So that wasn’t fun especially since we were celebrating my birthday. Edgar at front desk was lovely and very attentive shout out to him ! The food was a 3/5 the buffet options were good but I wish the food was bit better for the restaurants you need to leave in advance for. Seasons restaurant food was disgusting I wouldn’t recommend. We ended up leaving the resort for food. Drinks 1/5 They really watered down the drinks at this resort which was unfortunate. I never felt a buzz the whole trip, just empty calories. The minibar options were also limited with soft drinks and beer as the only option. Overall I would rate it a 3 out of 5 I think it’s a beautiful property but I would definitely recommend some upgrades and restructuring on the alcohol and food offerings.

This place food was terrible , It was the cheapest quality and not safe to eat. My husband got food poisoning and he was vomiting and big time diarrhea , we were not the only one there were multiple of our friends got sick too.we were going to buy a time share but after this happen we changed our mind.I thought this was an adult only but there were alot of family with kids were there. their food were cold and the portion as a joke , like one table spoon of mashed patotoes , Lazagna look like someone just through up a small pile like a 2 table spoon size. The Japanese was the only one that were decent enough for hot food, so disappointed for this vacation .and another thing their toilet were so gross because the whole time i was there their toilet were not flushing or plumming issued I do not recommend this place to anyone.You will be very disappointed .

My experience at Sandos Cancun was beyond disappointing—it was terrible. The hotel fell far short of expectations and did not deserve its advertised 5-star rating. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not what we had signed up for. The pool was dirty, the ice maker didn’t work, the TV was broken, and everything about the property felt outdated. The food was not only low-quality but had very limited options. On top of that, our room was dirty, the bathroom toilet door was problematic, and the bed was uncomfortably hard. What made it even worse was the beachfront CANCÚN sign. Unlike the photos in the advertisements, it was broken, rusted, and shoved off to the side, which felt emblematic of the entire experience—nothing was as promised. The lobby also had a bad odor that was unpleasant to deal with. The chief concierge, Stefano Rayo, assured me that he would contact Expedia and confirm the six-night refund. However, I received multiple emails from Expedia stating that Sandos had denied the refund, even though Expedia pushed for flexibility. Feeling ripped off and desperate, I had to spend an extra $2,500 to book another hotel on the same day. Thankfully, I found one with a single availability, but this added to the stress and cost of my trip. The buffet service was another disaster. One day at lunch, the tables didn’t even have towels or utensils set. We had to ask, and the waiter brought what looked like paper towels from the bathroom—completely unacceptable.

Not one electronic in my room worked. Fridge was not cold and all “inclusive” drinks inside were hot so they brought us an ice bucket with drinks. When I used the phone to call it in the phone did not work properly and they couldn’t hear me. The refrigerator was not replaced. Outlets to charge my electric devices all did not work but the one for the television so I unplugged the television to be able to use that outlet to charge my electronics! Iron did not work, go book your stay somewhere else. The door for the balcony did not work and the whole resort seems to be falling apart, very outdated!!

Very clean resort , staff very nice, always saying hello and smiling. Clean pools, nice beach, good place to spend time in nice and calm environments.

This property is too old which needs renovation and even the towels are no longer white. Other than that are just ok for what you paid. The beach is beautiful.
