Upon arrival on June 17th, our expectations quickly turned sour. Despite booking and paying $520.00 USD for a premium experience, including a premium minibar, preferential dining reservations, and an upgraded room with an ocean view, we encountered numerous issues.
Check-in was chaotic, leaving our luggage exposed while we endured relentless upselling attempts. Our room was unavailable until late evening. When we finally entered, we discovered a leaking shower with paint and drywall debris scattered about.
We reported these issues to our butler, Eliado, at 10 pm. It took over two hours for maintenance to arrive and deem our room uninhabitable. We were relocated through a storm to a substandard room without promised amenities.
Throughout our stay, service failures and miscommunications persisted. Despite a promised $130.00 USD reimbursement for the first night, staff were unaware of our entitlements, and we couldn't use the credit. Our attempts to book services and dining reservations were futile.
Premium amenities such as beachside service and Bali beds were unavailable. Frustrations culminated in a sleepless night due to a malfunctioning TV remote, an unsolicited early morning wake-up call, and our butler entering our suite unannounced while we were in the jacuzzi, asking us to leave for housekeeping.
We decided to cut short our stay, incurring additional expenses to change our flights. At checkout, despite expressing our dissatisfactio, we were still charged an extra $
