I recently stayed just before Christmas and enjoyed my stay very much. Pros: lovely resort, beachfront access and staff were all extremely friendly. Special shoutout to the wait staff such as Francisco, Moises and plenty others that I can’t remember. Cons: only downside is that the company timeshares its rooms, so every Saturday you may need to have housekeeping change your room. This is not openly advertised on Expedia to the best of my knowledge, though for customers nothing needs to be done as staff will move your things for you. If you book, definitely pre book eating at Hal Sienda! Would definitely visit again. Special shout out to Andre!

Bad food and wine. The best food is in Club Bistro. The Buffet dining was really bad. Outdated hotel inside, feels like a trip to 70-es, the small buffet area ( for a big hotel) should be renovated. Constantly scamming customer with all inclusive package to pay more for food and drinks. Some people from stuff in restaurant was very helpful , some people in hotel , especially at room service were not helpful at all. The hotel really don’t care about you as a customer, they care only about how much more money you are willing to pay for extra.

This big hotel has space for everyone. It has the nicest beachfront in all the hotel zone. Great staff and amenities. I stayed there for one week with my teen age kids and had an absolute blast.

Very well maintained. Staff is treated as family and they treat guests as family. We saw fellow guests visiting year after year and the way they met the staff it truly was as if they are meeting family. Excellent for young families. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sands. Everything was very clean, and the property was kept in top shape! All staff were very friendly and professional. The dining options were all very good! The staff were amazing! The property was very well maintained and clean! The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. I also wish there was more things to say in the evening, once we ate dinner there was nothing to do.
