Not enough activities for families at the resort: ie: no games room for teens/ mini golf / other facilities- only the beach and pools as well as a few kayaks and an aqua slide on the sea water. We did not do the all inclusive at this resort- and made our own plans for breakfast. some days we had breakfast at the resort buffet /other days buying our groceries from the local hotel market store/uber eats since we had a full kitchen in our spacious suite. On more than one occasion- when dining at the resort restaurants in the evenings - a manager would come up to us and state loudly in front of other diners sitting there in a passive aggressive tone: that he had been informed we were not on their all inclusive plan : and if we realized how much their evening Xmas buffet was per head? And that we would have to pay,” I was quite offended since we were well aware what the price per head was, and we had budgeted to pay for our meals. This left a very bad taste, and ruined our dining experience. This hotel needs to train their staff better on how to speak to guests. I felt quite uncomfortable on more than one occasion and will not be choosing this hotel on future visits to Cancun.

Pros: The property was beautiful, the receiving was good. The staff were ok. The room was good with garden view . Beach view was amazing and the surrounding was very peaceful and romantic. Room serive & house keeping was very neat. Cons: Stay away from coincerage service they ask you to join the vip club membership. This was our worst experience which took away our quality time during vacation. If you do not go to resort with all-inclusive then you will feel separated from the world. The potty area in the room was small & conjusted and the shower was very harsh and we could not control it. Not much activity for kids except for pool.

I would give them a 5 star rating but unfortunately most of the staff in the front desk were rude. They just seemed like the had a chip on their shoulder which checking me in. Also when I asked for my VIP Acess Gold Member access benefits. The cleaning crew were always polite and smiling. The waiters as well. I didn’t get the all inclusive so I did not try none of their restaurants. Other than that it was a nice place.

The property was good but I advise future visitors to keep their receipts if you don't want to be charged not to mention the restaurants are incredibly expensive if you dont have the all inclusive. Having all inclusive really wont get you much since there isnt a buffet and there are only 4 restaurants the food isnt as extravagant as the advertisements show. Not to mention the spas are highly overpriced. I recall getting the all inclusive package but to my surprise I was shown that my package didn't pass through. There are little to no activities for the children. The hotel is 11 minute drive from the city center so if you want to go out its a long drive.

If I could rate solely on the staff it would be 5 stars. Some of the nicest people we’ve encountered who are also courteous. We rated 3 stars because this isn’t really a family resort. The one family pool they had was just a pool with a bridge in the center. The bridge was severely rusted and falling apart. We noticed they had people diving throughout the day to pick up pieces of rust that were breaking off. Of the 7 days we were there only one day had a family friendly activity and that was the magic show which was held in their new hotel next door. The kids club is mainly for kids older than 6 because although it’s 4 and older there are limited activities younger ones can do and on some days can’t even stay there. This included the inflatable course on the beach that we didn’t really get to utilize due to the amount of drunk adults that were on there. (No judgement here). We were lucky enough that we planned a bunch of excursions including walking to the ferry which is right next door and taking a day trip to Isla Mujeres. Which id recommend over paying for the excursion. But for the families that want to spend the whole trip on resort, unless you love doing nothing but swimming in a pool and playing in the sand expect to be bored. Lastly the food is dealers choice. Some like it some don’t. Comparing it to some of the other resorts we’ve stayed at in Cancun it wasn’t the best. Personal preference and nonetheless service was phenomenal. Much more to say but not enough space
