# Oct 26, 2024 at 11:40ā€ÆAM The Waldorf Cancun is an absolutely wonderful hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed staying with you all. What was most striking was the staff there, who all made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. Below you will find a list and brief description of the hotel members that stuck out to us most strongly. In terms of complaints, our major complaint was the last two nights of our stay. Another group of guests was put adjacent to us. They had two small children, and the baby cried intensely all night. There was also extremely loud snoring. I donā€™t know if the walls are just thin, or if it was the fact that the rooms are conjoining, but either way it was unsettling and made it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, it really soured the last leg of our stay a bit. We also felt like we were in a bit of a moral quandary. We did not want to move rooms, as we had been in our current room for 4 nights already and were very settled. We also did not want to call and request that they be moved, as they seemed to have plenty on their plate (their baby would not stop crying), so we thought it best to just power through and let you all know in the review. Other minor complaints. The shades in the room did not always work and were a little finicky. I thought that the hydrotherapy should have been included in the room rate on a first come first serve basis. I would have liked to have a fire stick in the room without having to request it, and more food ch

Absolutely beautiful part property in a newly developed portion of the beach. It is extremely calm and tranquil and very relaxing. The staff here is amazing and bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and address you ever need before you even think of it. It is a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation and I hope to come back soon.

Wow, this is an amazingly beautiful hotel! I love when a place looks just like the pictures. The warm browns and neutral tones filled every inch of the resort. The pool waters were so comfortablely warm that I truly didn't want to get out. People who love to watch the sunrise will be in awe of the view from their balcony. I always prefer modern style, so the room decor was grown and sexy. The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating to all requests. Now for my favorite part - the FOOD. The pork belly tacos were the best pork tacos I'd ever had anywhere! I was literally so happy, smiling, and crying at the same time because they were that good. I'd take a bite and then sip this non-alcoholic drink they served and my taste buds went crazy. I hadn't had a food-gasm in a long time, but I sat back and enjoyed the ride.

As a solo female traveler this was the best place in Cancun to stay and feel safe and taken care of. The place is stunning, quiet, relaxing. I received a tour when I arrived from my personal concierge. Daily I was asked if I needed anything. Before my excursion the bellman had a bag with a towel and water ready for me. My transportation would not come into the hotel entrance so the bellman took me and picked me up at the drop off location. The food was outstanding. The plunge pool outside on the balcony looks directly at the tranquil beach and was delightful! The Miami Vice drink was the best one Iā€™ve ever had. The personal attention you receive here is off the charts. I will make this my go-to hotel from now on!

Top notch all-around. Just be aware that itā€™s expensive on top of your room rate. Family of 4 will be spending $600/day on food and beverage. However, food was excellent too.

PERFECT!!!!!!!! Jesus is the absolute BEST!!!!!! The Hotel & the rooms are beautiful & clean as well as the pool & the beach. The food is delicious. Could not ask for more.Thanks Waldorf staff for being so accommodating & friendly.

What made our trip special were the employees. The service was impeccable, but I feel like we could also have great conversations and learn a little bit about their culture and life, which is great when visiting a different country. Huge shout out to Jesus, who went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. He did it with great professionalism and always a smile.

Beautiful property situated away from the hotel zone. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and we didnā€™t have to fight over pool chairs. The staff was excellent and catered to our every need.
